Question nearly Crib Bedding?
Ok I know that they say not to put a "bumper pad" in bed with your kid. However if I don't my daughter will wake up herself up by rolling over and hitting her face/head on the bars of her crib. Anyway. My question is. Do they make any that just go around the front and sides? I ask only because the back of her crib is solid wood. (Later to be used as a headboard for a full sized bed.) If so where on earth can I get one?
I feel your pain. As a former SIDS crazed worrier I too kept the bumper pads out. Until the other day when my son got him elbow and arm stuck surrounded by between in the bars and cried. I said that's it, and I put them in. They do deal in mesh breathable pads though I don't know how safe they are. I put his normal ones contained by, and he is fine. I know I am going against the norm, but I can't make him uncomfortable and possibly risk him injuring himself for a slight possibility.
wait..whats a "bumper pad" is at hand a difference? i have a bumper on my sons crib that runs all the way around adjectives four sides. its secured on top and bottom..i only had it on 3 sides until he started gettting his arms caught in the bar of the crib. hmm..idk i would say if your child is big enough to roll around and hit her face on the bar then a bumper is not going to be a smothering hazard if she gets subsequent to it she can roll the other way and get away from it. just engender sure the bumper is secure and not too loose and it should be fine.
You are the lady who says your husband spends adjectives day with the lil boys accross the street cause he required a boy, and ignore yours daughter cause she's a girl? I remember you said that and I was astounded. I pity that poor child. Please find her a proper father who will love and cherish her no business what.
I use the bumper pad. My nearly 4 month frail son always thrash around the bed, especially when fussy. The last thing I want is for him to bash his manager into the sides or gets his arms/legs stuck.
I am not sure about some that only go 3/4 of a way around though.maybe you can find a seamstress who can do them for you by special order, or alter the ones you hold now?
Answers: ive never seen one that only go part way around.
if your worried about her getting suffocated, they do brand name mesh ones so that that wont be a problem.
