10 1/2 Month old-fashioned Holding breath? Is this everyday?
We had a family emergency and have be very busy the last few days and my daughter has not be getting all the attention she is used to. For the past three days if not getting attention or what she requirements right away, she will tighten her fist and then look like she is holding her breath and turns red, I have to touch her and voice her name loud or move her to get her to stop.. I put in a call for to her MD this morning and have no heard back. I hold had other moms say, she is just trying to get hold of your attention, has anyone had a baby do this?
I am a moment or two worried.
This is prearranged as a synaptic attack. Be extremely careful to atch out for this and pay closer attention to her in adjectives. Raise it with your pediatrician if you are concerned. If she simplky you wanted to get your attention she would cry - as to be exact babies only means of communication - unloss of course her cries have actually been ignored!
My sister's niece did this adjectives the time. Literally all the time. Occasionally did it so that she would pass out. Her parents were terribly concerned. But they took her to the doctor and they found out that it was just a way for her to her receive way. She used for the attention.
It took her quite a while to stop doing it. But finally she did.
Hopefully once your family emergency settles down later she will stop. Until then just keep doing what you are doing.
Answers: Both my sons did this, brought them both to the doctor and he said its just temper, Jack my 1yr old held his breath a couple of times until he in truth passed out, this freaked me and my husband out so much that we brought him to a specialist, they ran tests and they said he was faultlessly normal, he just has a bleak temper. He passed out for so long one time that he had little red dots all over his frontage from lack of oxygen, what I have learned from this is to remain unflustered, which I know is really hard to do, but the other day I didn't freak out and scream his identify, I stayed calm walked out side with him, and he caught his breath. Good Luck, I know what your going through.
Yep.
My MIL in actuality swears it runs in my fiance's side of the family. Every single one of them has done it.
Colten have done it. I was worried also. Nothing is wrong with her. She is starting to develop her own personality.and attitude in a minute.
