My son never even crawled, he scooted around on his bot until he be a little over 15 months old, then he suddenly pulled himself up by a bench turned around and walked (not toddled - walked) with total confidence, the length of my 18 foot lounge. He consequently sat down with a thump and looked around as if to ask how he had get to the other end of the room.
But from that moment on he walked everywhere all the time, he scream blue murder if you tried putting him in his pushchair and would keep walking even when exhausted if we were out refuse to even be carried.
