A bottle or a sippy cup?
My doctor wanted us to own our baby off the bottle between 13 and 15 months. So if she prefers the bottle, I'd start with than and slowly transition to the cup. We used Avent bottles, which made the transition flowing b/c they have sippy lids that fit on the bottle and are soft like bottle nipples. We made the transition minus problems using them. Good luck!
ha! this reminds me of my situation with my lil one with her dummy!! shes just 2 and still have a dummy, if i could look back i would of got rid of the dummy as early as i could possibly of done, so return with rid of the bottle and give her some milk durring the day in a cup at first later slowly do it so that she has a cup of milk at night b4 bed. voila!
When we started going whole milk, we solely gave our son sippy cups so he wouldn't get used to keeping the bottle around. So I would recommend switching the sippies at the same time.
you can always try it only in a sippy cup and report her how shes a big girl now so gets a big cup and continuously offer it surrounded by the cup as a way of removing the bottle
good luck
I used just bottles and the older she got the harder it be to get her to use the cup. She would only drink milk from a bottle. She'd drink juice from a cup but no milk. I concluded up having to take the bottle away cold turkey and it was a big period of war.
My advice is to just give the cup. No more bottles, the sooner its done the better sour. Source(s): Mommy to 2
i would do it contained by a Zippy cup ive seen 2 even 3yr olds with bottles
