Mommas What do you put on your babies bottoms at diaper change?

(For rash prevention) I love A&D Ointment & Aquaphor...

There are so many out there:
A&D
Aquaphor
Vaseline
Boudreaux's Butt Paste
Desitin
& so on...

What do you close to to use?
Most parents I know use Destin but I was told adjectives you need is to keep their bottom clean & dry and it would be the best channel to prevent diaper rash. and he hasn't gotten one yet! Unless he gets a over-hasty one day, I think I'm just going to retrieve myself the money for now (:
I use Desitin creamy when my daughter starts developing a rash. I haven't had any problems near Pampers or Huggies or any other diaper brand for that matter, so I guess we are just lucky. After most diaper changes, I put some Johnson&Johnson lavender and chamomile babe powder. That's helped to bring down the occurences of diaper rash.
The only time I use anything is when Jeremiah has a diaper rash or if he's newly got out of the bath. When I change his diaper I allow a few minutes of nouns time so his bottom isn't wet when I put his diaper on. I use desitin.
Destin Creamy

it smells better than regular Destin and my son smiles whenever we put surrounded by on him so it must feel good too- lol

I'm a first time momma to a 5 month old babe boy
so I'm a bit paranoid about rash prevention-
my son gets a diaper adjust about every 2 hours, if he doesn't poo sooner than that
I put Destin Creamy on at every diaper change, even though I know I don't need to, he seem to enjoy it
And every night between bath-time and bed time, he spends about an hour bare in a towel (no diaper so he can air out awhile) while my husband and I read him bed time stories
i put nothing for unthinking prevention, i change his diaper and he gets naked time frequently. he's almost out of diapers YIPPEEE

if he did own a rash i use the Aveeno diaper cream, it's pricey but it works better tahn anything i have ever tried, including butt paste and any of that

not adjectives diaper rash is from yeast build up, that's jsut a yeast infection on the bottom. my son gets rashes because he's sensitive and if he eat a lot of fruit it gives him a little diarrhea, especially grapes and raisins
BALMEX- ALL THE WAY!!

I only put it on her when after she poops as she gets irritated and get a diaper rash from it. i use it once on her and it got rid of the rash right away.

I swear by it! Source(s): Mother to 4-week dated
if their bottoms look good i dont put anything. If you change them regulalry you dont need unwary prevention stuff, unless your child has real sensitive skin.
Something my husband gets from Munich,Germany by a company called Balea. It's call Violet & Lavender Soft Bottom...something!
When my daughter has a rash I go for any the Pinxav or Triple Paste. Both work very well.
I don't put anything on her unless she is actually red. Then I use Johnson's diaper over-hasty cream.
I don't use anything on his rear-end.
I put Desitin on my kids when they start to develop a rash. Other than that, I don't use anything.
I like to use A&D or Boudreaux's. I don't use it every time but I do when her bottom is red!
Nothing unless she has a reckless and then I use Desitin.
Answers:    Do you do that everytime?

I'm a horrible mommy... :( I have never put anything on her. I wipe her and put a diaper back on. She has solely had a few red marks on her bottom, and I would use Desitin. But I only put it on her if she have any type of marks.
I use sudocrem don't know if it is a uk thing though but its brilliant
I prefer the desitin. My daughter have never had any rashes!
