Does anyone enjoy a Britax pram?
In particular I am looking to get the Vigour 3+ which has fantastic reviews. But today I've see a Britax Trekker for a low price. So can anyone comment on their experiences with either? Thanks
Answers: I have the Vigour 3+ and I unquestionably love it! I bought it because it seemed to be one of the only ones that had a coup¨¦ seat that fits with both the Isofix base and the travel system. We bought the works, carrycot, wheel, pushchair attachment, cosy toes, car seat. We bought the "SHR" carseat which seemed to proposition a bit more protection from the elements. Although I don't think it is really a Single-hand-release - at least not for my small hands! But I love that you clunk click the carseat within and out of the base, no faffing with seatbelts - great!
I might be tempted to buy the 4+ solely for the origin that if you do a lot of walking in the neighbourhood and up and down pavement to cross roads, etc., you're a bit unsteady while the 3rd wheel is up on the pavement and you're pulling up the other two wheels - but that would be true of any 3-wheeler, not just Britax.
All the attachments clunk-click within and out of the chassis frame in a pleasing way. We haven't used the pushchair much yet but it seem fine and comfy for our 9 month old. People have commented on the manoeuvrability of our pram. It's lightweight and can spin in its place. The chassis is comfortable to open and shut to fling in the boot. Only negative we've found so far is that the raincover for the carrycot is a tight fit and once it's on, we kept it on for a few days at a time.
Britax own won awards for excellence and I think it shows! Sorry I don't know much about the Trekker, though.
