When did your child smile at you?
My LO was about 5 weeks behind the times...he made my day. I was so tired and fed up near the baby blues and he must have known because he give me the most beautiful gummy smile ever!! I'll never forget it
Mine started to really smile at like 6-8 weeks. So she is pretty average beside her adjusted age. It's that first toothless grin just precious. Now my daughter has 6 teeth, it's complicated to believe how fast they grow.
Both of my kids started smiling around 6 weeks.
At about 3 months old-isn't it awesome!

Right around 5-6 weeks was her first social smile that she had when I was chitchat to her. When my son was a baby I took him for his one month pictures and he was laughing noticeably then. So, it depends on the baby, really.
