Stomach bug or formula problem...you want?

okay so my son (8 months) has a stomach bug. hes had it since thursday. I took him to the ER on thursday cause he be vomiting the doctor said give him pedialite for 24 hrs. alright so my hubby and I did but the next day we started giving him formula. He hasnt have any diarrhea or fevers but he has been gassy. on friday within the afternoon, the vomiting restarted. alright so we gave him pedialite again until saturday. Saturday he woke up from his second nap around noon and again next to the formula (mind you when we give him formula its 2oz every 20min-so all together 4 oz). today, sunday, after 10 oz of formula (6am to 4pm) he vomited.

my hubby and I are starting to believe that its not a stomach bug but maybe its his brand new formula that hes been on for 2 weeks. he was on nutramigen and his allergist switched him to elecare. since the switch hes had bowel movements every other morning instead of everyday and hes been gassy. What do you think stomach bug or formula problem?
Answers:    its more then plausible the formula imo i would talk to his doctor about it.
I think it's probably the formula. Call the MD and try varying it again. Try Mylicon for the gas too (that works pretty good). Good luck!
