What can come up if a newborn swallows a wellbutrin pill?
My 10-month old daughter found a 150 mg Wellbutrin XI pill on the floor and swallowed it. I didn't know this had happened until she threw it up onto the floor. It have dissolved a little bit, but still had it's pill shape to it. We called poison control and they said lately to watch her for a few hours and see if anything out of the ordinary happens, but she should be ok since she puked it up. I merely wanted to a few second opinions (if there are any) on what could come to pass or if she is going to be just fine. Anyone have an experience like this?
I think she should be seen surrounded by the ER.Your daughter is quite young and small. There is no way to report to for certain how much of the pill is dissolved in her system.Any is too much in my assessment.I suggest you call the local hospital and see what they say,if not lately take her in for safety sake. She might obligation to be monitored for any reaction. This is not something to be taken lightly.
Hope your daughter is fine :))
From now on be more wise and vigilant with any/every medication !
Well I have never have any experience with it, if you would call experience being my dog swallowing 1 of my paroxysm medication experience then go ahead but nothing happen to her since she was such a big dog. But it is a good thing that you call PC, But they know what they are talking about it is they're job sweetie you're daughter will be fine and approaching PC said if anything out of the ordinary happens then you should probably phone call them back.
xoxo!
Answers: My son ate a blood pressure pill once and poison control said like thing. He also spit it out because it taste nasty I am sure. I did phone my doctor too and get his opinion. He said the same piece. Just to watch him and call 911 or go to the ER if I thought something be wrong. My son was fine with no symptoms or anything. i think she will be fine. Did poison control make clear to you what to watch for? I think she will be fine. Give her something sweet to drink.
That's it, she is fated for benzodiazepine addiction. Better lock up the happy pills, momma.
