Need serve next to wording on card for infant shower, please?
My husband's friend and his wife are expecting a baby boy.
(His first child, her second.)
The shower is later this month and I'm in the process of making them a diaper cake. (Star Wars subject, mainly.)
I'm trying to decide what to write out on the card to attach to the diaper cake.
My husband and I would like to generate some pre-cooked meals for them
(I'm pretty good in the kitchen)
I figure I could just prep something in a baking dish-
the type of meal that she could store within the fridge for a day or two
and then whenever she gets hungry, her hubby could pre-heat the oven,
throw the dish within for 30 minutes
And that way they'd have something healthy, yummy, and best of adjectives easy
on hand to feed the house when they get back from the hospital
However, how do I word in the card that I would similar to to do this for them?
The best I came up with was "We would be honored to see to it that the mommy have a homecooked meal when she returns home from giving birth."
And that just doesn't sound reasonably right...any suggestions on how I could better word it? Much appreciated- thank you!
I don't know that I would put it on the card. I'd just bring them the meal after they get home from the hospital...it'll be a nice surprise.
I would sort up a little mock coupon or check for ready-made home cooked meals for the new clan. You could even get it to match your theme using Microsoft Word. Either punch a hole contained by the corner and attach it with ribbon to the cake or include it inside a standard baby shower card.
