How antediluvian be your toddler when he/she stopped drinking from a bottle?
I was just wondering at what age did your baby stop drinking from a bottle completely. my daughter turned a year frail on july 14 and i have been trying to wean her but she still prefers to suck from it. should i just give somebody a lift it away?
My daughter got rid of the bottle and moved to sippy cups by 8.5 months. I just took the bottle away and she didn't think any differently of it.
I would asap...my son was exactly one year when I get rid of all bottles... You can slowly wean her off it if you want...just to start by slowly replacing 1 more feed with a sippy cup until she is off it completely... or if you want you can just nick away all the bottles cold turkey (hide them all or throw them all out)...its up to you how you travel about it but she needs to get past its sell-by date it asap.
Answers: Our daughter was bottle-free by 15 months. She stopped taking bottles during the day at 13 months, but that night-time bottle be a little harder to wean her from. We barely made our pediatrician's orders...she said 15 months and no after that, the bottle had to be gone for good.
In the end, it be a matter of taking it away. The transition was easier than I expected. Good luck. Source(s): Mama to a 17-month-old.
