PPD? I am so unhappy...and it have be 2 months?
I just had a baby 2 months ago...my doc said that i should be over my PPD but i am freshly so sad and scared of everything...i am on meds. but I still get doomed to failure panic attacks like crazy...all i want to do is hold my infant i cant even take a shower without having a frenzy Attack. but my doc just don't understand I don't feel better at adjectives! she just kinda pushed me away. I don't know what to do now. I tryed to get surrounded by to see another doc for the mind but it takes a whole month to get within! by that time i will be even more crazy. I try so hard to be happy but it dont work. my doc. said PPD only final for 6 weeks..is that even true.
PPD can actually persist for years if treated. Make an appointment with another doc, and go to the ER in the meantime if you have a feeling terrible.
You deserve treatment, and I promise a happier you is waiting to come out! Take care, and God bless.
your doctor is very wrong about this, seek a second feelings. PPD can last for a very long time if not treated properly. Since you are on meds already I'd guess you need to change them and also look for support in line and friends. I had a terrible case of PPD, I didn't even want to hold my little one, but my family and friends supported me and i was able to seize through it, but it took a lot of work.
all i can say is you have a stunning baby! Sorry thats no help... SMILE!! Source(s): 22 weeks 5 days
Your hormones are all out of whack right in a minute, your baby is just two months old, I would conceivably try seeing another doctor.
Answers: Do you have any family or friends that can help you out beside this? Even having your mother (if you have one) over to look after him for 1-3 hours so you can have a shower or a rest. Your not crazy! Your just overtired and extremely stressed. Just say ultra calm when you start thought overly stressed or worried just remeber this:
Why am I worried? What can I do about it? Who can help me near this stress or worry? Where can I go to calm down and center my self?
You could even brand name up a card with theese question and recite them when you perceive an on coming stress or worry. You CAN control your panic attacks with trying to be relaxing. Good luck and congrats!
That will happen some time. Did you do any entry bab before you hade the baby?
