Would you hold your infant to an outdoor, household funeral service?

Yes. I took my kids to my uncle's funeral, and outdoor burial service a couple of weeks ago. Babies are other welcomed at funerals.
I think it depends on the age of the baby. My grandmother is 92 and my kids are 6 and 2, both will attend her funeral when she passes. However, we hold a backup plan, if either of them get out of hand...my Husband will embezzle them away.

I think it's good to have them spawn their presence, but if they get fussy its for the benefit of everyone else who's attending to have them quickly removed.
I took my 2 week old baby to my husbands grandmothers funeral last year but I moved out my 3 and 6 year olds with my mother as I do not think it is the place for small children as they do not understand the inevitability for quiet behaviour etc...
A baby is fine so long as you are prepared to check out of the immediate vicinity if the baby become disruptive which I'm sure you would, but not a small child Source(s): mum of 3
depend on th weather, but if it was clear then yes
