Why do you conjecture my 1 year dated does this?
He rather not play with toys, instead he would rather verbs in cabinets, harass "lucy" our little pup, knock things sour my shelf, climb in spots he shouldn't be in, you name it he does it. My first two kids be such a joy, this one is keeping me on my toes. And when we shoo him away he just laughs at us, its funny to him haha. Does your baby acquire into everything too?
Wow, that sounds like my 15 month old. He has every toy he could want but doesn't play near them.
My son thinks is hysterical to pull my hair and slap me a bunch of times contained by the face. His father says he gets that cruel sense of humor from me. He stopped doing it for a while but then figured out he could easily draw from a reaction from his parents. Telling him no is like telling him a really devout joke. He also thinks it is the funniest thing to stir behind the dog and grab his mouth and show his teeth like he's wresling an alligator. The most up-to-date thing is putting one leg over the dog and bouncing in hysterics while poor Jake grumbles and looks to me for help...lol. He's a nut.
Oh, and whenever we are anywhere out he grab everything- even if I am holding him. He will be completely bent over in this awkward position while I'm holding him to touch something- anything.
I'm with you on this! I'm almost afraid to have another.
Absolutely! Babies at this age are so interested contained by learning about their surroundings, wanting to touch, grab, KO, climb into everything etc. This is how they learn, they know when they drop something, if it will break, bounce or stay on the floor, they learn the texture. They have to touch to see if its soft, tough or prickly. To them this whole world is so new and they have no conception what is dangerous or what isn't. To them, anything is up for grabs. But remember, its all subdivision of them understanding this world and they're learning. You can use this as a greater learning tool and fashion sure you point the name out every object he touches. The more he hears it, the more he will remember what it is and if its harmful or not. Sometimes babies remember right away, other times it can take months for them to know what is allowed and not allowed to grab. Good luck! Source(s): My son is exactly approaching this! Also from reading, What to Expect the Toddler Years.
It almost sounds like he is craving attention...even negative attention. And he isn't even contained by his "terrible twos"!
They both did, the playthings they favored be general objects in the room not toys - only when we go somewhere new did they play with the new toys. I surmise it's mostly large motor skills they and he were/are working on, and toys just don't fulfill that desire to move their body and be active. I bet at the playground he's adjectives over it.
he does this because he is one year old.
Jesse's Uncle, I am sure she means playing next to or chasing the dog, not hurting the dog. Comparing a one year old playing with a dog to a serial killer? You are something else. I guess my daughter is a serial executioner too.
Yes, my daughter is the same way. She loves to get into everything she is unacceptable to be in. Right now, that is my purse.
"Why do you think my 1 year old does this?"
Because he's a one year old. :) Seriously, he sounds typical. Our son would rather explore around the house(opening cabinets, pulling on the dog and cat, dragging dog food around the house, etc.) than play with adjectives of the toys he has. It's normal behavior.
ETA: LOL. Yep, my son is going to be a serial killer because AT ONE he messes beside our animals. And he's not disciplined! Better get that whip crackin'.
entertainment Source(s): party
Because he is adventurous and different. That's great! View it beside different eyes and you can see that it is fun too!
Put latches on most cabinets, but leave 2 or 3 he is "allowed" to return with into with safe stuff in it.
Aggressive curiosity is a blessing in disguise!
Get your naps! You get a smart one there.
Answers: YES. Brayden sure does. And I mean everything. He loves pulling the plastic bags out and before we know it the kitchen floor is covered within them. He also likes when we open the dish washer and cries when we take him away from it. He have been messing with the window blinds just now too. And those are brand new so we try to keep him away...and then he scream and cries. lol We had to take the picture frames off our call a halt tables because he kept wanting to knock them down and I was afraid they would break. We had to fur the vacuum because he kept wanting to mess with it. And we had to make the computer stool sit really high bc he is loving him some of the computer and climbs up the chair and starts messing with the the ivories!
K. I could keep on going. lol. So yes- we call him our mean child. I suggest we are going to have our hands very full when he get older. Terrible 2s? Gosh! I think we are hitting the terrible 1s!
My son sounds EXACTLY like yours, but he's much cuter, if to be exact in fact your baby's pic. Anyway -- NORMAL!
