How can i find my 1 month outmoded to sleep more surrounded by the hours of darkness than surrounded by the light of day?

not at a month no you cant they still really sleep alot then.
But usually get some toys and books and play beside your baby while shes awake. Interaction is everything.
make sure its all buisness at night time. fine-tuning, feed, bed. no cuddling, singing, talking, playing, eye contact. they'll get the belief and decide you are no fun at night. during the day receive lots of eye contact, sing, cuddle, play. Source(s): they messin up in the hospital, taking them at night for all of their test!! Good luck
My son had his nights and days mixed up, but he began sleeping through the hours of darkness at 5 1/2 weeks. My husband and I would try our best to keep him awake in the evening from 6-8. We would play with him, hold him, touch his cheeks and he would stir up. It of course didn't keep him fully awake, but it didn't let him completely rest any. So when it came to bedtime, he began sleeping longer and longer in the darkness, till one day it was all hours of darkness! That worked for us and he's two now and has slept through the night since. Of course, every babe is different, so hopefully you find something that works!
Exercise - it will do you both good.
I had the same problem with one of my babies and my Mom told me to try and hang on to him/her up as much as possible during the day and than he/she will sleep at night if he/she has a full tummy to start out the darkness.
