10 month frail and apple liquid?

When I give my 10 month old apple juice do I still enjoy to dilute it?
It's the Simply Apple brand. 100% pure, not from concentrate, actually tastes like apples lol

So at 10 months mature, do I still have to dilute her juice?
Cate goes to sleep next to apple juice and she's four and i still dilute it.
You don't HAVE to, but it's best if you do.

Fruit juice (no matter how organic, pure, freshly squeezed etc) is soaring in naturally occurring sugar (fructose) and is also quite bitter. Both the sugars and acids are terrible for teeth in babies and adults alike. If you water it down, it dilutes the sugars and acids making it a bit better for her! Occasional, non-diluted fruit juice won't do a huge amount of harm, but it's not a good thought to give it regularly as in the long-term, it will erode the enamel on her teeth.

That's why it's also best to give liquid only with meals. In between meal, the sugars stay around the teeth causing decay, whereas with meal the increased saliva rinses them away, making juice less likely to lead to dental problems. Also, when you have fruit juice on an empty stomach, it cause a sudden rise in blood sugar, followed by a sudden drop around 15 minutes later, which causes a rush of joie de vivre followed by lack of energy and lethargy.

Finally... diluting reduce the laxative effect of juice! Source(s): I read too many books!
I still dilute my 2 year olds when im running low! lol I also do it because my kids all hated hose, this way they got water and liquid. I can't remember when my DR. said they could have juice without anyone diluted actually. Just ask! Good luck!
My kids are 4 and 2 and I still dilute theirs at LEAST 1/2 way if not more.

That approach they get more water and fliuds and less sugar from the liquid but are happy because it tastes like liquid :)

But at 10 months.her dr. would definitly say to duilute it still.
Yep! Source(s): navy wife and mama!
I would.

Answers:    You don't "have" to but it is better to do so. That way is is more hydrating minus so much sugar. Also apple juice is quite a good innate laxative, (whether you intend for it or not) so diluting it is better if she is already regular.
Dilute it.

Blessings
I still dilute my almost 2 yr olds..even though it's 100% pure not from concentrate it still has sugars surrounded by it.
Yes I dilute juice for my daughter and she is the same age as yours. It's basically healthier to do half juice partly water, even if it is 100% juice.
I still dilute my LO's juice.
she is almost 11 months old.
yes absoulutly. my daughter is 2 and i still dilute it.
Yes.
A) They don't need adjectives the sugar and empty calories of juice and diluting it atleast cuts down on that

B) Its gentler on their stomachs.

C) Its more hydrating

Water is best for them anyways but if you're going to use juice as an occasional treat label it mostly water
My son is almost 20 months old and I still dilute adjectives his juices. Even the "baby" juice from Gerber or Juicy Juice.

If I don't he explodes out of his diapers and he doesn't need that much sugar.
