10 month behind the times and CIO-Parents who own be through this do you own any suggestions for a extremely strong will?

10 month old baby girl who needs to be sleeping contained by her own crib in her own room? Tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!! She will only sleep in her crib if I catch her to sleep first with a feeding. And then will merely usually sleep in her crib for 2-3 hours and then wakes up screaming. I permit her cry for 10-15 minutes but once it turns to uncontrollable sobbing I give in and put her within bed with me for the rest of the night.
She's not strong willed - she in recent times knows what works. If you truly want her to sleep in her own bed then you can't 'bequeath in' and bring her into yours. You will have several nights of crying but it will get better contained by a matter of days. In a week or so you will have a child that sleeps through on her own in her own bed.

If you can't do it, later just accept her sleeping in your bed. You can't hold it both ways. Either it is CIO or not. It cant' be cry for 10 minutes then get what she wants.

EDIT: Keep recounting yourself that this will actually help her. It truly will. First, she will be more rested. Second, she will have a mommy who is more rested. I don't know in the order of you but I know there have been times that I enjoy been driving but was so tired from being up at dark that I am SURE I was probably as dangerous as a drunk driver. It is unhealthy for anyone, newborn or adult to be sleep deprived.

And you can tell yourself that there will be abundant times she will cry to get her way and there will be tons times you will have to say no. This is just the first of frequent.
My daughter is also 10 months old and now teething. We finished up moving her crib into our room and she is still crying after being in the crib for only a few hours at a time, after i give in as well and put her contained by the bed.
She slept fine in her crib until we moved... (4 weeks ago),
I am going to start by letting her do small crying session in the crib in the room near me (Daddy has moved to the couch during the week to sleep), then transition her out of the night time feeding(again), afterwards try and move her to her room. Source(s): Mother of a 10month old baby girl
Answers:    I have a strong-willed daughter too and it never worked. Even concluding night she was in her room crying. I didn't hear her because we own a fan on and she was just weakly crying but hubby heard her and got up to find out what was bugging her.

She be thirsty so he got her a drink.

I guess the moral is, hang in here. It will get better to the point where she can tell you what is bothering her.

CIO NEVER worked. I tried it out of desperation and it a moment ago never worked. She would throw up from crying. :-(

I say don't do it.
