How does your tot respond to tummy time, when did they start successfully pushing up?
my baby girl is almost 10 weeks old. She hates tummy time for some purpose... she is ok for a few minutes, but she gets frustrated really fast and makes angry noise (but doesn't truly fuss or cry), and I feel guilty and roll her back over. She can push up a tiny bit, but not using her arms as much as her chest. How old be your baby when they started pushing themselves up, and how did they do with tummy time? Any suggestions to help her close to it (I've tried distracting her with rattles and talking to her while she's on her tummy, doesn't work)
My daughter hated tummy time. She would be ok for in the region of 3-5 minutes before she would start fussing and crying. It wasn't until she could roll over by herself that she was comfortable being on her tummy.
hold you tried a rolled up towel under her this was often recomended to us as our son despicable it we had him seen by a chiropractor and his t8-t12 wasnt moving properly and within hours he be rolling both ways and he hadnt don that then started attempting to crawel but i think it was at around 12 weeks he would push up look around next crack it sometimes i also found if i had the mirror infront of him he was more interested
Answers: My kid hated tummy time too. When he started rolling over at about 3.5 months old, he bookish to be ok with it. now at 4.5 months old he have begun crawling.
I have also tried putting a towel under the chest to lessen the pressure on the stomach.
He can presently push up on his stomach and had 10 minutes of tummy time (compaired to about 15 seconds before)
