Help next to toddler item checklist?

Hello I am 23 weeks w/ a baby girl, and we are going shopping later with exactly $400 (we are mean budgeters). Obviously that is not enough for baby items lol, because we hold been doing our shopping gradually, spending small amounts of money at a time. This is our first child, so I have NO IDEA what I really involve.
Some things I have already gotten:
- Stroller
- Car seat
- Diaper pail
- Bedding Set
- Crib matress cover
- 5 outfits (were patently getting more)
- A few pairs of socks
- Diaper bag
- Baby bath tub
- Hooded towels / Washcloths
My dad is buying her crib as his baby bequest, but I need to know what else I need!!
definitely invest in a swing! You can pick one up off of craigslist for CHEAP! Got mine for $40 when retail be $119.

But bottles, rattles, diapers, wipes, MYLICON (or store brand gas drops), baby monitor, and a couple recieving blankets will set you suitable for a while. If you have to formula feed, wait on stocking up on it. You may find yourself going through a couple different kind before settling on one. (plus the hospital will give you a ton of it to take home)
Lots of onesies! LOTS! haha
also, baby bottles, a sterilizer, breast pump (if applicable), pacifiers, diaper cream, peaceable baby bath, shampoo, lotion, scratch mittens, bibs, a wipe space heater (if you want one, they are great), change pad and cover, *nail clippers*, diapers and wipes (lots)...buy a couple of the newborn pack, but she wont fit them for too long, so stock up on size ones as well! receiving blankets, a soft baby brush, q-tips, a mobile, extra crib sheets, a nursing pillow, and also, I'm not 100% sure what they beckon them, but the snug baby sleeper that you adjust to size to secure the baby's sleep position so they don't roll on their stomachs...extra blankets, baby bottle lots if you choose that kind, and any extra cute little things you find along the way!

Hope this helps!

Everyone I know, including me, has said that their bouncy/vibrating chair save their lives. I would get one if I was you. Fisher Price makes well-mannered ones. You need a place to put baby when you have to bring back things done around the house, and this is the perfect way to keep babe close to you while not having to hold them.
Mine loves the vibrating. He takes most of his nap in his chair.

You also need supplies; Shampoo/soap, diapers, wipe, diaper rash cream, ect. (you never have enough of this because you'll be using it adjectives for a long time)
there is no course you need every single thin on the list, and if u are on a budget i would not recommend babies r us, but this is where on earth this check list is from. I got one when i was pregnant and consequently went to wal mart and target and saved lots of money. Congrats and good luck to you!

Many little one items and clothes get little use. You can stretch your $400 by asking around for hand-me-downs.

One thing you cannot do without is diapers! But don't stock up on size N (some babies are too big for them at birth!) - size 3 and 4 will be the sizes you use for the longest amount of time.
Answers:    First thing is are you have a baby shower? if so wait on the smaller things such as towels/wash cloths, socks, and other clothes or cheaper items. a few ways you could stretch your money would be to check out some second hand children stores you unmistakably wouldnt want to by a used bugger sucker lol but i have found alot of name brand clothes that are lightly worn or even brand up to date for much less then the mall or even walmart! As far as youre register goes i would say
1.Approx. ten baby blankets
2.burp rag
3.A child safety kit
4.Baby tylenol or motrin( you dont want to take a sick babe-in-arms out at 3 am for meds.)
5.Bottles!! the best ones i found were platex drop ins, the baby wont get as much nouns that way which means less tummy pains
6. If you use drop ins you will entail refills, i think the parents choice ones are 6-7 dollars for 200 for the first month or so ull need 4 oz.
7.A vaporizer would be a dutiful idea
8.A bassinet unless shes sleeping in her crib right away if not a pack and play will be a great investment, have a built in bassinet and changing table then once shes to big for that it turns into a play pen
9.Body shirts-onesies
10.A bottle washer
11.Neck supporter for the vehicle seat and strap covers
12.Baby book
13.Hats (depending on where u live)
14.A mobile for the crib, relaxes them alot
15.A swing (a must have for my son)
16.Some compassionate of bouncer or baby rocker
17.Soap
18.Loation, Baby magic is ten times better then johnsons
19.Baby powder
20.Diaper impetuous cream the best ive used is butt paste
21. Diapers and wipes, swaddlers work best for the first few weeks, there cut low so they dont rub sour or irritate the umbilical cord.
Be careful abound buying alot of diapers wipes or lotions just surrounded by case she has sensitive skin.
22. A bottle of purex to wash her clothes within for the first month or 2 another sensitive skin thing!
As far as towels go i used the cute little hooded baby towel 1 time and realize that while they may be cute there not so great there kind of rough and extremely see-through its hard to dry the baby and they dont keep them reheat , after that i went out and bought my son a few of the thick, soft towels that are only for him!
Thats adjectives i can think of other then lots of patience!! the second few months of pregnancy are gonna be hard, then the first few months of her life are gonna be intricate, just remember that it will get easier, She will eventually sleep through the nite and its worth every bit of of it!!
Good Luck Source(s): In her shoes ten months ago
Diapers, diapers, diapers! =)
Wipes, wipes, wipes
Burp cloths (I use cloth diapers)
Bibs
Bottles (if you are not breatfeesing)
-bottle brush
Maybe a pacifier
**Don't really NEED a diaper container.I use a trash can with a touch open lid
Maybe a crib mobile
You will have need of a bassinet for the first couple months. The crib will be too big.
Lots of onsies.
Infant medicine kit (Tylenol, Motrin, Baby orajel, Mylicon, vapor bath, thermometer, etc.).
Grooming utensils.
bottles (Playtex drop-ins and ventaire are easiest to clean)
breast pump if you intend to breast feed
breast pads (you will need these at lowest for the first week or two, regardless of breast feeding).
swing or bouncy seat (or both)
pacifiers if you want
YOU NEED A BOPPY PILLOW if you are planning to breastfeed. Also, a bouncer and a swing will sooth and harmony your crying baby. Try Craigslist, people are always getting rid of their "approaching new" baby items for CHEAP!
if you havent had your shower however wait on the hooded towels and wash clothes. I got tons of those, clothes, soaps, desetin and stuff liek that at my shower its a extraordinarily common gift. But as far as stuff you will more then credible not get skippign the obvious diapers and bottles. I would say a bottle cleaner (we forgot just about this lol) a bottle warmer tht can also disinfect nipples and pacifiers was very convienent to us. Outlet covers, a swing, one of the little chairs tht enjoy the hanging things above them and they rock this was wonderful for before he could sit to nurture in and he can hold his bottle in it, A bouncy chair. (i approaching the ones that are like walkers and sit on the ground rather later hang from a doorways and such) comfort rider! (its liek 25 bucks at walmart so you dont always have to hold her) i would snatch some sun tan lotion since when you have her they might not be selling it anymore and if you go outside even contained by winter it would be nice ot put on her face to make sure she doesnt get any burn. I cant really ruminate of anythign else right now.
Receiving blankets, onesies, diapers, wipes and a car form. That is all you NEED to bring a baby home!
You will want a sleep positioner, some receiving blankets, a swing or bouncer, soaps, wipes, diapers (obviously!), a playpin (eventually), sleepers/gowns, onesies, monitor, bottles/nipples (if not breast feeding), pacifiers (if you plan on using them), a changing table beside pad..
some tihngs you can do without we never used our baby hip bath tub not once I wish you lived closer you could have it. same with socks he would not preserve socks on things i would suggest would b some baby blankets ,bottles, pacis if you choose to give them, breast pump if you decide to breastfeed it be a life saver for me,bibs!, my son hit a drolling stage at one point, one of those things to keep newborn from rolling on their face(again wish you lived closer),a baby coat! just surrounded by case. a baby book this will preserve memories because believe it or not you will forget some things, baby shampoo, infant lotion, some toys they do help maybe not right away but eventually,a highchair. good luck Source(s): also bring gatorade when your contained by labor because they wont let you eat and consider it a clear liquid
