My 5 month outdated daughter keep spitting up!!?? PLEASE ANSWER/Help?
For the past day, my daughter just keep spitting up! Nothing has changed, I am not feeding her anything different. She is breast-fed and I have not eat anything different!
She does not have a fever or anything!
What could this be coming from?!
Please answer!
Thank you all surrounded by advance!
IS SHE SPITTING UP FOOD OR SALIVA...
IF ITS SALIVA MAYBE SHES TEETHING
Sometimes they just go through a phase of spitting up after a feed, approaching when they were a newborn... It happens every now and afterwards and goes away as quickly as it returned. If she's bringing a lot up, later maybe she's caught a bug of some sort. It could also be from excess saliva production if she's about to start teething, the saliva going down their throats constantly makes them engineer funny noises, choking/inhaling noises and also can make them gag - which if it happen after a feed might cause her to bring milk up with it too. Answers: I had the same problem near my daughter, hopefully I can ease your mind a little bit.
My daughter spit up constantly, to the point where she be always soaking wet and I would be a nervous wreck because every time I feed her it would seem to all come back out again. She be also breast fed and as you know it is tougher to tell how much they are taking in so it seem like she wasn't getting any fluids in her at all.
The pediatrician weigh her at her regular checkups and told me that as long as she is gaining weight spitting up is a laundry problem and not a health problem. In other words, clearly normal. She ended up being diagnosed next to mild acid reflux and so every time I fed her I would prop her up at a slight angle afterward, as opposed to lay her flat, to keep the milk from bubbling up, which seemed to work.
It could be reflux in your daughter's skin as well, and they grow out of it before too long. As long as she is eating and purchase weight at a normal rate she should be fine.
Hope this helps you out, suitable luck!
