When my newborn plays he hits himself?
if hes having fun, then leave him be.
if hes not crying or seeming close to its self distruction, then its all just play for him.
nil at all to worry about.
as long as they are not hurting themself it is ok. he is learning about his body and what happen if he does a particular thing. i wouldn't worry almost stopping it. your son won't do it again if he hurts himself.
My little guy is 3 months and he does this same thing. It seems like he does it more when he is getting really excited. He doesn't cry or anything. Sometimes he will look at me resembling what the HELL, and I say...don't look at me, you did it!
My little boy does matching kind of thing. It scares me but I grain a little better knowing that he is not the only one. Good Luck!
