Which is best for babe...Similac or Enfamil?
i always gave my son similac.
Enfamil made my daughter very constipated so I switched to Similac. It is the only formula that have the "immune shield" that helps support your babies immune system. If you have WIC they usually do Enfamil only, but we get a prescription faxed from her pediatrician and they accepted it.
Our son was on Enfamil, we had no issues near it
but i do think they're pretty much the same (and cost the same too)
They are not equal, but very similar. I liked the Enfamil combo of vitamins and minerals more. As it turns out, Target's baby formula is exactly equal as Enfamil.

if you look at what the vitamin % is on Similac and Enfamil they are only off by a point or two. So they are pretty much the same. as capably as the store brand. the FDA has regulations on formula.
I am a Similac Mommy, their Alimentum for allergies and colic...he didn't have colic but he was within pain from his milk allergies and it made him feel so much better and same for his reflux, it helped that too.
Enfamil make a version of it but I hated it.too too watery.
After I stopped brestfeeding, we use enfamil for the last 6 months before my son switched to regular milk

They are both the same. They are both deeply heavily regulated by the FDA. We use Enfamil because thats what WIC gives us.
They are both almost exactly the same... and so are the store brands for that matter. Walmart makes Parent's Choice formula which is of late as good, with almost the exact same ingredients for a third the price. Many major stores trademark their own brands which are very similar to Similac and Enfamil. When I had to buy formula I would buy the store brand. They all be in motion through the same strict FDA approval.

I tried both of them and my daughter would only drink similac. Which kind of sucks because WIC individual gives enfamil. Your baby will let you know which one they approaching

My son did not like similac or enfamil. We use Good Start when he doesn't have breast milk. It is easier to digest b/c it has broken down proteins. We find coupons in the mail for it which makes it pretty affordable as in good health.
