Am I the solely one? Or are here other moms?
WIC! omg thats just awful to say plan things
I'm not on WIC and i did both i breastfed and bottle fed
When I chose to breast feed my first child, my mom told me that I reminded her of a dog with a puppy on her tit. :( Obviously, breastfeeding came to a complete hault from after on. I was humiliated! So I chose not to breastfeed my last child and my step brother actually give me grief about it! What a shock, especially coming from a grown man! I'm expecting now and I do plan to brest feed, but I'm much elder now and have no problem telling individuals to shove it! Source(s): You can't please everyone, so why the heck bother! Do what works best for you!
i didn't BF and my 2 children are absolutely fine!!
it's your own choice and don't let anyone tell you differently!
BE STRONG!
I breastfed my son until he was 16 months old but sadly was not able to breastfeed my daughter for more than 3 weeks as she had a tongue tie and could not attach in need nipple shields. This led to my milk supply being very low and she be not getting enough at each feed.
She have been formula fed from 3 weeks and is absolutely thriving and at 3 months matured is sleeping through the night.
We all have to do what is best underneath our own circumstances. Believe me, I felt heaps of mummy guilt because I could not breast feed her but have immediately come to terms with it.
I chose not to breastfeed.
I formula feed and we don't qualify for WIC.
There are others, freshly I am not one of them. I am only against it if you are CHOOSING to do it BECAUSE you have WIC. Because you get free formula is not a biddable reason to do, because you have to take drug or medical reason is understandable, but for the sole reason that you go and get free formula?
i didnt breastfeed with my first child and im due in 5 days and not gunna breastfeed this one neither. I think breastfeeding is repulsive and I dont support what anyone has to say about it. I dont see what adjectives the hype is about in this section around breastfeeding i think its everyones individual choice. and the people who are on here that complain and gripe about it can shove it and find something better to do near there time instead of worrying about everyones elses boobs and if there self put to proper use or not.
No there's a lot of moms on here that chose not to bfeed.
Personally I'm not one and will try my hardest to get the hang up of it. :)
i don't breastfeed...i was beginning to reckon i was alone too...
Yeah within are non BFing moms on here.
I'm not one of them but I'm not going to yell at you cuz your not bfing.
I chose to stop trying after 3 weeks...I guess that might put me in the same category.
Don't listen to anyone bad mouthing you just about it. It is your baby, your choice.
I did both. I breastfed at home and used formula when we were out. It was purely easier that way.
I breastfed both my kids. You are the only one I know of that CHOOSES to bottle feed. That's ok though, it's your choice.
My son was within the NICU for 3 weeks when he was born and I had to pump my breast milk for him. When he was 6 weeks frail, I tried to get him to latch on and he bit my nipple! It hurt so bad and I decided that be the end of breastfeeding and bottle fed him from then on! LOL
I have my daughter 17 months later and I breastfed her as soon as she was born. Her and I struggled with breastfeeding for 3 months!! We have a lot of help from a local lactation consultant and the problems were eventually resolved. I breastfed my daughter until she be 10 1/2 months old.
no one is going to crucify you.
anyways, I'm sure within are. I breast feed though.
Well, I tried... But he never latched so I was pumping, but it be SO time consuming and stressful that I chose to stop. Does that like half count?
And I hope you're talking something like the fact that choosing not to bf just for WIC is wrong, and not WIC itself. Sometimes people only just need help. Oh, and you can still get WIC even when breastfeeding. They afford momma food rather than baby. Plus, they have great nutritionists.
Unfortunately there are many close to yourself, it's an epidemic that's gone on too long.
