Question roughly Baby Registry?
My baby shower is next month and I am debating on where to register. I just want to register at one place. Walmart or Babiesrus. They both have similar things that I want and I am only putting 12 items on my registry. I'm concerned about registering at Walmart because their newborn department is sometimes an unorganized mess and i'm concerned to register at Babiesrus because it's a bit overpriced. Which one should I register at? Also, do you ever buy off of a registry?
Have you looked at Target? It's still cheaper than BabiesRus, but they have more to offer and their stores are usually much cleaner.
I'd voice Babies R Us - they have a good return policy, they have frequent sale, and a better overall selection. And FWIW, at least in the city where on earth I live, their prices are comparable to Wal-Mart's. They're actually comparable to or BETTER on some things than Wal-Mart's (and, of course, it goes lacking saying that their prices are more expensive on others, but that just comes from checking prices in a mixture of places over time).
And do I buy off a registry? Usually, yes, I do. I realize that they're not the be-all, end-all of gift giving, but at least looking at the registry give me a clear idea of what the parents want/need, their tastes, color scheme for the nursery, etc. and most importantly - what they want. :) I will frequently include in a little something extra that I've used that's worked well for me (my favorite brand of diaper cream, etc.), but overall, yes - I ruminate registries are a great starting point when shopping for a baby!
Walmart-walmart-walmart! They don't use FDA approved drug manufacturers. They have to various lawsuits to list. They still have WORKING child sweat shops in china. They other are out of city limits so that they don't have to go by the towns guidelines, ie buying and supporting local farmers. The account is massive. Do your own research, the worldwide web is at your fingers.google it. Try registering @ www.bbnb.us. They had ALL kinds of cool stuff you can't draw from anywhere else and they are a local small business. Try supporting your locals instead of massive conglomerates that care nothing for you.only your MONEY.
I actually registered at both BBRU & Walmart. BBRU is more expensive for some things but have a huge selection. Watch their list of "must haves" on their registry list. It includes a ton of things that really are not must haves, but they hope you register for it adjectives so people spend the money on it. so just make sure you really with the sole purpose register for what you want. The people there are super helpful because most are parents themselves plus you can oral exam drive all their strollers (which I highly recommend doing so you can find the one you will really like using). Walmart have a good selection of the theme I used, Pooh, but after we registered as things sold at the store to anyone, their stock be not replaced so most of my items ended up being online only, which they do present ship to store for free. A lot of my guests told me that the registry was down. There are 4 stores in our area and respectively one of them had issues with their registry so people couldn't verbs the list, or they would see the list online and buy something from it, but it wouldn't update the list since it wa down so I get a ton of duplicates. Walmart is good and cheap which people liked bc some couldn't afford BBRU but it be a hassle! Hope this helps!
Answers: Go with Babies R Us. Register for what you need, and if those are concerned with the price they could always find the same product else where on earth. And usually I try and get at least 2 things off of a people registry and throw in what I think they might need, that they didn't guess to ask for, that I think will become very useful. Such as extra binkies, (I've see registries that didn't even ask for binkies) a pack of size 2, 3, or 4 diapers. (Babies grow fast, and they'll grow out of those newborn diapers so quick, and before you know it your stuck next to 3 boxes of them) Tons and tons of baby wipes, extra socks etc. Congrats! and good luck. =)
If within are similar things at both places then i would pry go with Walmart...it tend to be cheaper for people, has an easy return policy if you be to get double, change ur mind, doesnt really go as resourcefully as you thought or whatever. Also walmart has the site to store shipping for free which will help race out with not having to pay for shipping if it wasnt contained by the store.
Hope this helps!! Congrats!
I went with BabiesRUs and Target. I hear a lot of people say to do Walmart instead of Target because their return policy is strict. I choose not to shop at Walmart (even though to be precise all I can afford sometimes). I received SOOOO many things that were not on my registry! Save adjectives receipts. Strongly encourage your guests to GIVE you receipts.
I would take a look at the store locations of each and suggest about where your guests live and what their normal shopping traditions are. If BabiesRUs is out of the way, I'd go with Walmart. Otherwise, I would choose BabiesrUS. Great screening. They regularly have 15% off coupons and sales on big items.
Good luck! Have fun!
Note: Walmart destroys local buisiness, take over towns, does not treat their employees well. (They CANNOT work full time so that Walmart doesn't have to income any benefits.) And their overseas factory workers are treated little better than slaves. This documentary is very eye opening.

I would do Walmart if everything you want is there as well. It's cheaper, if someone can't find what they are looking for it's not that complicated to ask a worker to help them.
The last baby shower I go to I did not buy anything from the registry.
avoid it -it can be misconstrued as begging for gifts. don't assume that people will bring you anything, but stroke graciously if they do.
I would register at Babies R Us because in my opinion they have more of a test. No... whenever anyone has a registry... that's where I purchase whatever it is that they want... otherwise it doesn't seize taken off and someone else may purchase the same thing.
Babiesrus. Do you know all the horrible things that Walmart does?
i registered at baby's r us and abundantly of the items that i asked for ended up being on sale when folks started buying things for my shower good luck and congrats
Of the two, I'd walk with Babies R Us. It really isn't that much more expensive than Walmart. Do you have a Target near you? They usually enjoy a good baby department, both in the store and online. Good luck!
Its much easier for population to go to walmart then babiesrus. I had two and pretty much not a soul went to babiesrus.
I would register at Baby's R Us. Even thought it is a bit over priced, you wont have to buy them. I always buy bad a registry because you never know what they already have. If you buy off a registry, you know that they need them and it say whether it was already bought or not.
i registered at both and target people are going to shop where they want so i give them options.
I would prefer walmart; if they don't have in-store what you have on the list. i can hold it shipped to the store for free; not sure if BRU offer this.
I love registries...i like to get ancestors a gift i know they need/want; not something they might never use.
Do you have a burlington coat factory near you? Their child depot is nice.
I would do Babies R Us. I know a lot of associates who hate to go into Wal Mart. Congrats!!
