How long did you breastfeed?
Or if you're currently breastfeed when do you plan on weining your baby?
My daughter is 10mo and we're still feeding. I'd like to give her the opportunity to self wean however don't know that I'd shift much more beyond 2yo so have to wait and see I guess.
My daughter is almost 4 weeks and we are just starting to do rather better with the breastfeeding. I have had to supplement next to formula since she was about 4 days old. I hope to be exclusively breastfeeding inside the next 2-3 weeks. Hopefully we can continue for at least 6 months. I know my mom have to stop breastfeeding me because I literally almost bit her nipple off when I got a few teeth. Source(s): personal experience
I am breastfeeding my 3 year old daughter and 5 month old son. I plan to stop when they self wean. My daughter only nurses once a daylight so she will probably stop sometime soon.
I hope to be able to breastfeed for at least the first six months. I am going back to work when my daughter is three months and my charge does not allow for many opportunities to pump throughout the day ( I guide all-day kindergarten), but I am going to do my best to continue breastfeeding when I am home, even if pumping during the day does not work out.
I'm nursing my 15 month feeble, don't have any plan to stop. I'm also pregnant so i'm finding my nipples hurt a bit, but i'll get used to it.
My son is 11 months and we are still breastfeeding exclusively.. meaning no bottles, pumps, formula, etc.. he's also had solid food since 6 months. I plan on nursing him till around 24 months probably. I don't hold a solid plan really... ideally he weans himself. I would like for him to be weaned when I get pregnant again honestly. It would just product things easier on me. We're talking about TTCing again when he's 2 years. I'm not setting any firm ending point though.. purely taking it month by month and feeling it out.
I am breastfeeding my 5month old twin boys and i plan on letting them self ween.
I breastfed exclusively for 15 months. I plan on trying with this baby and see how long we can go for. Source(s): *B*T*
Mom of 1, 41w 2d w/ #2!
7 weeks.
I would have kept doing it for longer if my milk had continued, but it wasn't and the babe wasn't latching and it was painful, she wasn't getting enough milk any, so I switched to formula.

Answers: My first I pumped because she was a preemie, My second just made 4 months on Friday and I am still breastfeeding. I plan on going until he is six months. I considered necessary to pump for one year. Since I am back at work it is hard for me to pump.
My son is 16 months old and we are still going. I'm not sure how long we will continue at this point, it's going well and he enjoy it.
i breastfed my first son for about 2 months simply as he ripped my nipples apart. with my second son - also only 6 weeks as he was not getting ample milk from my breasts and i had to pump... and all i was doing 24/7 be pumping and feeding him which was really hard since i have to take care of my other kid... i admire adjectives who manage to do it for a long time!
My daughter is still exclusively breastfed at nearly 5 months.
I'll let her wean herself, so no age in mind.
Had I been competent, I'd have nursed for a year and considered my options and how I felt give or take a few continuing. I would have liked to do 2 years really.
Unfortunately, I gave up after just 2 weeks with my first child, which I deeply regret. It may have be poor support and being insufficently educated on the subject, it may have be simply a lack of dedication. With my second child, I got 4 months before I be unable to continue. I dedicated as much as I could, so I surface no regret.
19 months near my first ...
I plan on letting my 9 month old wean herself.
One for a year and the other for 13 months.
