My Youngest does This Also For some reason She plays near Things with her hands Also But Her feet 2. She Also Has Kicked Or rubbed things next to her feet tell she went to bed since she be born and she is now 1 in A Half now and still does it along near play with things with her feet I meditate Its normal. They are just exploring things. I myself sometimes use my toes to pick up things on the floor instead of bending down and using my hands lol.

Our son did the same thing. I thought it was my glitch because I bought him this Kick Piano toy and then he started using his feet for everything. I even tried to make him play piano w/ his hand. I talked to the DR about it and she said it was ok and he'd out grow it. He did, plays next to his hands just fine
Our son loved bang his feet on just about anything! We used to live within an apartment complex and the person below us did not enjoy Daniel banging on the floor at adjectives. lol He would also bang on his toys. We have a piano(toy) and he'd turn himself to hit it with his foot at around 7 months.
Babies love their feet! Its completely regular and darn cute isn't it? I think its because they have a little more control of their foot than their hands since they haven't quite grown into their heads however but who knows why they do it.
Lol, my sister has always called me a monkey cuz my toes are kinda long and I pick up things beside my toes all the time, weird I know, but darn is it useful!! My son have recently become fascinated by his feet (he's almost 4 1/2 months). The other day I be holding a rattle out for him and he grabbed it with his foot. He also holds onto his toes all the time. I guess he's a little monkey too.
