How do you achieve a tot to drink marine out of a cup?
Just keep trying. He'll do it eventually. It took my son quite a while.
Seems a bit young to be doing that yet as his motor functions are no where practical good enough yet for something as intricate as drinking from a cup.
Even though its second moral fibre to us adults its an extremely difficult thing to grasp for a child so young.
Maybe you should hold off until the boy is at lowest 12 months old.
My daughter was the same, i tried for months and i tried so many different ones it be unbelievable. I kept trying and trying and then about a month ago (at 14 months) she established that because her cousin was drinking out of a cup, she wanted to as well, immediately theres no stopping her. He will just take it 1 day as long as you dont make a contribution up
Just keep giving him the sippy cup. You drink from it and see if he will copy you. Help him put it to his mouth, and show him something comes out of it.
My son did a sippy cup and a straw at around 10 months. And then go right to a regular cup. Took my daughter longer to catch on.
For me i stopped buying any sugary drinks for a week and told my son that the squash was all gone, he would after ask for milk and i told him it was all gone. He even had to cheak himself. I told him that if he wishes a drink he will have to have water and very soon he loves water :)
get the cup and u poor the hose for him until he learns
Try using a 'Doidy' cup (only about lb3 from Amazon). It doesn't have a spout at adjectives, its just open like an developed cup but is child sized and slanted. My 7 month old loves, absolutely LOVES drinking water from it. She have always refused bottles and spouted cups.
