Moving kid into crib?

when i moved my son into his own room i had to make myself a bed on his floor so that i know he was okay for the first 2 weeks he was in here she will be fine just check on her a couple of times before you go to sleep in recent times to make sure my son will be 2 in november and i still check to make sure he is breathing earlier i go to sleep good luck
Ultimately just YOU know when the time is right. I mean, if your child is still in your room at 3years then I guess it would be a bit of a verbs, but if you need a little while longer to enjoy your child, then so be it. Have the crib set up and ready, it is always an exciting experience setting up baby's first room, but move her contained by when you are ready.
Wow, you are taking a big step! Just take a deep breath, this is going to be much harder on you than her! I just did this next to my son a few weeks ago, he is 7 months old and he has done wonderful! What made it better for me is like a week or so past he was moved to his own room I started to let him take nap in his crib so he would be use to it (It also helped me get use to him individual in his own room) and we also have a baby monitor that have a sensor pad on it, I think the brand is angelcare. The sensor pad sounds an alarm if after 15 second it doesn't sense any movement. (like if someone picks him up out of the crib or if God forbid he stopped breathing) It does take some time to get the sensor pad to the right smooth but I really love it and it makes me feel a lot better. Good luck to you and I reckon you will do fine!
i moved my daughter at 9weeks... and i must admit, it made us adjectives sleep so much better. i didn't wake at every sound or move she made :-)

I had to hold both our bedroom doors open to begin with.. couldn't hold them closed... you could sleep in the babies room with her for a few nights if it help you?

good luck x
My husband put up the crib within our room and its still there, My daughter is 10 months.
It can be a positive for you both. His own room! Big step for a not rather 6 month old.

Before you know it he will be in Pre K and into the big world...sniff. enjoy him while you can. He will be fine. So will you.
Infants should definitely be out of the parents room by 6 months at the latest. It hinders their qualifications to not rely on you entirely and the become quickly dependent on your response to them waking. If the child is kept in the room long-gone this time frame the develop difficultly being able to calmly put themselves rear legs to sleep with out any interaction from you.
It may take days, weeks, months, but once they go vertebrae to sleep on their own you have won the battle! Patience is key!
Good luck!
I moved my baby into his crib almost 2 months ago and it has be the best decision for both of us! It is hard at first I did sleep in his room next to him for the first 2 weeks! I reccommend that if you're worried, because it made me realize that he IS ok in his room! I also have a video monitor, they can be expensive mine was around $130, but I don't know how I would do in need it, I'm always leaning over and checking the monitor, and it's comforting to be able to see him!

I give attention to he sleeps better and longer in his room, without me interrferring all the time at every littke nouns! He also moves all over his crib now when he sleeps, so I think growth perceptive he needed a bigger area. I moved him into his crib at 4 months, he's almost 6 months and we are both very happy! I DO still hold him till he falls asleep though, I'm not sure when I'll be capable of put him down on his own. GOOD LUCK, you'll be glad you did it! :-)
