2 months-old sleeping 3 hours today! Is it commonplace?
So he woke up at 8.30am.
Fell asleep in the car when we went to drop Master 3 at Kindy (30 minutes including for a while walk in the pram).
Then slept in arms at home - be crying in the cot - from 11 am to noon. (1 hour)
Slept again in the motor from 3.00pm to 3.30pm, woke up as soon as I take him out!
Slept at home from 6.00pm to 7.00pm then "rudely" interrupts me cooking just when I thought he would be so tired...
He's presently gone to bed at 8.30pm and seems to finally enjoy it. But in the finishing 12 hours, he only had 3 hours. Is that OK? He was tired and grumpy too so I have to keep the pram rolling!
Answers: Babies go through growth spurts... eating deeply, sleeping a lot, noticeable increased fussiness... so this is completely normal. Especially for a 2 month matured. Even though it appears this only happened one day, it could surface several days while your baby develops. Sometimes they like to be awake and then bring over tired... but this is normal. There isn't anything to worry about.
why wouldn't that be regular?? a baby changes their sleeping pattern adjectives the time. Because he didn't take many naps or longer nap during the day doesn't mean there is something wrong near him.
Secondly, he is only 2 months old, why in the world would you donate him in the crib crying for 1 hour? That is way too long for a 2 month old newborn to be crying...
"Rudely"? How can a 2 month prehistoric "rudely" interrupt you? I hope this was some kind of attempt at a little sarcasm.
Anyhow, it it mundane.
