A fun query: how prehistoric is your lil one? what is their favorite book?

my lil girl is 10 months old loves to turn the pages. she likes picture books, but infant einsteins books all rhyme really well and she claps and giggles when i read them to her. i know most from memory immediately. lol so my answer to my own question is

10 months
baby einsteins "what floats?"
6mo, I try read to her everyday
Her favourites are The Wiggles ones, not because of the wiggle but because of the sparkley pages.
My son will be one tomorrow. I can't get him to sit still while reading to him. He has this V-Tech sing a rhyme book that he will bring to me during the daytime. I'll pull him into my lap and try to read to him, but usually he snatches the book from me and turns the pages himself. I try to read to him every hours of darkness, but as I said before, he won't sit still for it. Hopefully he will soon, I want to read him bedtime stories. Source(s): Me
My son is 14 months and loves "Where's Elmo?" "Oh The Places You'll Go" and "The Nose Book." He will bring them over to us to read to him and "reads" to himself all the time. Those are his faves.
I enjoy a class full of babies from 11 mths- 18 mths.
They love Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See

It's soo cute. When we grab the books, they all sit surrounded by a circle. We read everyday, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day, sometimes the same book, over and over (not by my choice of course).

both of them love goodnight moon, i read it to both of them even while they were in the womb, and still read it every hours of darkness before bed.
we read every chance we get during the daytime, and we have a time set aside before bed that daddy reads a special book and mommy read a special book. Source(s): mommy of 2
My daughter is 18 months old. She doesn't seem to supervision what book I read to her, as long as it has pics in it, so she can point at them.

I TRY to read to her every night. It of late depends how tired/cranky she is.
My four month old could precision less what I read. My three year old daughter's favorite book is one with a bunch of strings and you practice tying bows. My 4 year out-of-date likes the I Spy books.
My favorite is Goodnight Moon! We read at least once a day for almost a half hour.
Mine is 2 mos old but his original due date be this Saturday, so I guess he's a newborn? I read him the Psalms from the Bible. I read them in a singsong voice, and he listens very intently.
Logan is purely over a year old. He loves me to read him "where the wild things are"
My son loved me reading to him before he walked and be so active. Now hes 2 and can't sit still through a book. My 5 year old twins LOVE Dr. Suess books though and will make me read them 100 times over.
Olivia is 6 months old, and I read to her every night and recurrently during the day, I have done so since she was born. She doesn't appear to have a favourite at the moment, but she likes books where on earth she can press buttons and it makes noise, or touch things on the book. She really likes "Spot" though, that book is cute.
