a diaper rash shouldn't last longer later a week...if it does you will probably need something prescripted...what i use for my son is the pink bottle of caldesene.
Wash him with water and don't put anything else on it. Sometimes the creams can actually take home a bad diaper rash worse. So dunk him in some dampen every time he goes. It sounds like a hassle, but it has other worked for me the moment my son looks like he is going to get a rash.

I would deff recommend Aveeno. The first week my daughter was home she broke out in a doomed to failure diaper rash, Aveeno 2-3 times a day cleared it right up. Aveeno claims they treat, prevent and soothe diaper rash.

Use a spray bottle with water and the softest rag towels you can find such as Bounty or Brawny, which are both thick. Spray the paper towel not your baby and wipe her beside those.
