1 year aged possibly have discouraging dreams?
Does your baby ever sit up and cry then fall subsidise asleep, mine does this a few nights a week, he will sit up half asleep and cry for a minute and then lay posterior down, you can tell he's not fully awake, I was just wondering if I don`t know its a bad dream he's having, did your baby ever do this?
Night terrors usually happen more if your child is over tired.
Setting and sticking to a programme will help.
Don't wake him up. Just rub his back and lurk till the screaming stops. Stay with him the whole time.
All my kids had them.
yes!! And all I can assume is that she's had a bad dream. She sits up, and I don't turn in there unless she's actually awake and really crying.
I can hear on her monitor that she not lying down, and she kinda does this really distraught half cry thing for just a couple of minutes, afterwards falls down and gets comfortable, and gets back to full sleep.
It's really down in the mouth! I can't imagine what she could be dreaming about!
But if she's actually awake and screaming I move about in there and rock her and sing to her for a few minutes. That usually does the trick.
But I try not to go within there unless I know there is actually something wrong. I don't want to clear a habit of it.
Answers: I own heard of a child slightly older (my nephew had them at 2 1/2) have "night terrors" He would wake up screaming a freaking out, but was if truth be told not awake though his eyes were wide open. It be frightening to watch. We just had to hold him so he didn't hurt himself and loaf for him to calm down. My daughter on the other hand, who will be 1 in two weeks wake up crying and kicking her legs. I believe it is caused by growing pains. Hope this helps.
