13 wk ripened teething - struggling to nurture?
My dd was in a great routine - 5-6oz every 4-5hours and sleeping from 10pm latest till 6am. It's adjectives gone out the window now since she started teething. I'm taking upto 2 hours just to take a max of 4oz down and so for the last few days she's been having much smaller quantity than she's been used to. I've starting giving her chamomilla and am using bonjela before feeds but not notice much difference so far. Anyone else had the same problem, what worked for your lo?
at 13 weeks i doubt its teething.
chewing fists at that age is a developmental stage not relateon cloud nineeething at all
You may want to google Bonjela, it was on the news recently to be bleak for babies, but I can't remember what it did. I never used it because of the chemicals in it.
Teething throws routines out the window regularly in my house! You can procure some natural teething tablets, Hylands I think is the brand.
Wet face washers can support too if she wants to suck on one.
Don't worry too much about her feed less, she will get her appetite back when the spasm is gone. As long as she is having something, and having it whenever she is hungry she will be fine.
Answers: I had like peas in a pod with my daughter, we tried all sorts and I swear by a product called solution anbesol. Its just a little bottle of liquid, you wipe it on your finger and rub it on your babies gums. Its miles better because gels and powders never go where you want them to and also your child will just lick it off where as anbesol soaks straight into the gum. You can draw from it at any chemist, its about lb3 and each bottle will last you a right 2/3 months
I would clutch her to the doctor to check for an ear infection. Teething and ear infection symptoms can be similar in a baby that young.
i have 6month behind the times twind my 6 year old was teething at 12 weeks as well but at that age babies dance through whats called in commen terms a growth spurt some times it can be reversed first they sleep alot and nurture a fair bit for about a week then after that for around 2 weeks they arfe grumpy whinging and wont feed at all and very clingy i cant put my son down at the moment her permantly stuck to my hip or he scream your dd will get back into their normal routine but it may embezzle a couple of weeks and remember they will want little feeds close together by the end of the first day you are exhausted but try to stay pacify if you get stressed they sense your stress and react to it
good luck
