A interview for adjectives parents - who inoculate, and who do not give a vaccination against.?

Not a debate on either side of the coin.

Will you be getting your child vaccinated against swine flu if / when the vaccine is released? Why, why not?

Personally, I vaccinate. I am torn on the Swine Flu vaccine however - its brand unusual and most likely has not been tested on children.

Thanks for adjectives serious answers in advance.
iffy, I think I would absolutely do my oldest who is in school, id research side effects and really debate doing my son who is 10 mths
My daughter has asthma so we always get her flu vaccines. Every year they enjoy different strains of flu and different flu vaccines. The swine flu vaccine will be just as safe as the regular flu vaccine.

The reason some society get the flu after they have had a flu shot is because in that are different strains of flu and the vaccines only protect agains known strains. The flu shots are different from year to year.
i wont get my kid the vaccine when she does get here because swine flu isnt really anything serious. it just spreads faster than the flue. its less lethal than just the regular flu, so i wont be doing it.
I vaccinate. But those vaccines own been tested and re tested.

I don't think I would vaccinate my child against the swine flu though. Back contained by the 70's when a similar vaccine was created for the swine flu, the vaccine cause more problems then the swine flu itself. Likely due to not satisfactory testing.

No, I would probably not get the swine flu vaccine if it is ever offered. The reason being, like you I don't feel as if the vaccine will be tested thoroughly to find the effects subsequent in life. There are not any cases close by my community so I am really not that worried about it.

ETA~ I vaccinate my daughter.
I vaccinate.

I am not sure about the flu shot this year. My son got it later year and ended up getting the flu. I have NEVER had the flu shot and never get the flu. So not sure if it causes us to get the flu or not. It's a big ol debate.
Answers:    i vaccinate, but i will not take anything for the swine flu. the media blew the swine flu WAY out of proportion. it really isnt that big of a problem. i hate how the media make everyone go into a frenzy over something that really isnt all that bad. also, basically because the fda has approved something, doesnt mean it is safe. (this is to your first poster) hold you ever seen those commercials "do you have a loved one that used the fentanyl duragesic patch and die? you could be entitled to a settlement" there are MILLIONS of those commercials. adjectives of the time. so just because something was approved by the fda doesnt make it safe and sound.
i will as my baby is 3 weeks old today
he cannot accord with illnesses on his own, but apparently its not suitable for under 1's, but im sure they will come up with summit
he will be have all his vaccinations at 8 weeks also

xxx
Vaccinate them. Do whatever yo ucan to protect your children other.

The FDA would never send anything medical like that out without self sure that it is not harmfull to children.
I inoculate on a normal schedule but there is no mode I'd subject my child to an experimental vaccine. I'll just keep her home if it becomes an issue. The swine flu doesn't panic me.
the swine flu vaccine is just starting a 6 week trial in Australia after which I believe it will be rolled out across the world

If my children were small I wouldnt expose them to the risk of an untested vaccine
its obviously personal choice Source(s): http://edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/science…

according to this its not being tested on anyone underneath 18 anyway
Yes because we are blessed with the technology to do so
The swine flu is not a significant illness, we won't be getting vaccines for ourselves or our daughter.
