Moms, ever be harrassed by an Avon female? LOL! Odd query...?

Haha yes, trying to sell me their stupid hand creams and fat burning machines...if I needed them I would ask, lol.

:)
omg yes. I like their products but some of the main sale reps are annoying *** beeotches.
Ugh, I've had that. Only it wasn't from an Avon lady, it be some chick who said she worked for a phone company. She called us everyday for at least a week. And we always get the same girl every time. The first time I said no, she demanded an explanation why!!
We told her every time she called that we weren't interested in switching phone companies and to stop calling us. Every time she claimed that she have never called us before. She was completely unprofessional. So eventually, we wrote down adjectives the calls we had gotten from her, what days at what time, and we read them back to her. Then once she denied THAT, I told her to f*ck rotten before I charge her for harassment.
She hasn't called final since :)
I had the same thing start to me When I started Mary Kay Once I told my director that when she hounds me it pushes me away from the company and that i dont want more than one call a week she stopped hounded me and started to be cool if you are interested in selling avon you need to set boundaries beside your rep you are not doing this for her its for yourself and personal buisness so just give her boundaries and hopefully she will lay off it worked for me
Your not surrounded by a binding contract with this lady
LOL that sounds scary! I love Avon, but that lady sounds nuts!

Just do what my mom does...answer in a foreign articulation and start asking and saying confusing things..."Like wha..? Who dis? I can't hear! Who? Speak up!"

LOL
Not an Avon lady but a phone company rep. One once call us everyday for a week at the same time of day which happened to be my son's siesta time. If I didn't answer 15 minutes later I'd get another call. So even if my son slept through the 1st send for the 2nd would wake him up! Even when I answered and told them I wasn't interested they still rang again. In the end I be that annoyed I asked for a supervisor and gave him an earful, something which I never do. Boy I felt better after that!

What I have done within the past is answer the phone with just a "Hello" lacking announcing who I was. When they have told me who they are and asked for me if it's an unsolicitated call I notify them that person they are after (me) doesn't reside at this residence.
I know exactly what you mean, I be looking for life insurance, just to get some quotes. I am married and enjoy a baby (she is 6 months old) and I would like my family to financially support if something ever happened to me, so that's why I'm looking into it. Then a guy called me on Tuesday, I told him I just want a quotation and he said that he couldn't transport me one, then he asks me for my banking details as if I had standard his quote telephonic. I told him, I just want a quote. He has been calling me everyday, on my cell and work number. But I don't want his quote. Mainly because of the style he speaks to me, it sounds like his is coming on to me the whole time, calling me "my darling" the whole time. I've told him that I'm not interested contained by his quote, but he just doesn't get it.
yes that is pretty off - it would annoy me to start with for finding my phone when i hadn't provided it. I would in recent times pick it up next time and blankly say that you were simply enquiring in the first place, you never gave more info that you wanted but somehow this woman sought out the extra info and you found that an extreme intrusion on your privacy and that fact of the obsessive phone calls have ruined any chance of this woman even being considered. And not to call any more or you will report her to the appropriate authorities. I would report her to the avon pave the way in any case! :-)
