Is it somewhat sadden that ppl cant only be sunny next to little one girls?
I was just on my friends blog and theyre having twins and found out 1 is a girl and the other is possibly a girl too and it said be disappointed cause daddy wanted a hunting buddy but i guess we'll just hold to pray to god that he blesses us next time with a boy.I think of those little gals read that when they grow that they would be hurt be that,I dunno i merely feel a little saddened when I read things like that.so how are you adjectives mommies and how are you little ones?my boys are active as ever lol

We're expecting rather girl next and my hubby pretends to be upset to bother me and then we laugh and influence it really doesn't matter especially if she turned out like her aunty! Anyways, my little boy is active as ever too, he already bit his lip when he tripped this morning :( Now he's sucking on rime wrapped in a towel lol.
I'm not a mommy, but I'm a daddy to a 9mo old little girl and I would not trade her for anything in the world, baseball/hunting buddy or not. She's the most precious point I've ever had, and people who say things close to that about their kids are sort of sad in my book. My wife be going to be upset if we had a boy, so it happens both ways, but I think any one is incorrect. How can you want one baby more than another? Look at them!
I raised three daughters, no sons. Don't believe for a minute that girls can't hunt or do almost anything else a boy can do. I'm not a hunter but taught all my girls to shoot and two are better shots than I am. They also attended steer arts classes with me. They loved to play and rough house as much as any boy when they were young. They also adjectives enjoy camping and the outdoors.
On top of that, there is nought better than having a little girl that adores you, unless it is several of them. Little girls are almost other daddy's girls. Now I have three granddaughters and it is almost as much fun.

I think many society DO have some prefernce for one sex or the other, and so may feel sad to cram that the baby is the other sex, but they quickly come to love whatever little one they are blessed with and forget any momentary disappointment.

Its extremely sad. I know a couple where on earth the husband wanted a son really badly,they had no trouble getting pregnant but he other wound up with daughters. They had 5 daughters in total, one after the other because he required that son so after she gave birth they tried again, and again, and again... Well the poor wife was absolutely miserable during every one of her pregnancies but he didn't precision whatever it took to get him that son he was of a mind to put his wife thru, even if it nearly killed her from depression. So after 5 daughters he finally got his son and now they own 6 children.
I recently saw his personal web page and it broke my heart because the wife's web page shows pictures of every single one of her children because similar to any mother she is proud of all of them. But in the husbands website he wrote "My blessing, God finally gave me a son!"...His first sentence starts sour something like " I am so elated the Lord has Blessed me next to a son." and has tons of pictures of the baby boy and maybe one of the girls..The elder girls can read, what do they think when they read that on their father's web page?
Its so sad that a parent is predisposed to traumatize their children in order to fulfill some dumb standard that every father needs a son to complete his role as a proud father. A child have to live with the feeling that they were "a moment ago another girl" and not the boy that their father wanted. Children can sense when they are not wanted and for daughter it can create issues in their self worth and their stipulation to please a male figure deep into their prime of life.
I for one have a baby girl and if the Lord blesses me with another babe-in-arms girl awesome, and if a boy comes along terrific but EVERY SINGE ONE of my children I see as a blessing and I would love them all irregardless, heck if I ever adopt like I want to the same principle applies because children are a endowment from God. Right very soon my 7 year old at the park program our towns has during summer months and he gets to be in motion swimming everyday in that. He loves that and he hates missing it. My 5 year old is lonely lacking his brother being around and he sitting watching tv right now and about to own lunch. And my 7 month old baby girl is active toddler. She on the floor playing moving around on her stomach in circles. I keeping an eye on her while being on here.
