Does your tot verbs their blankets over in that team leader? Mine is 5 months prehistoric and does it. Scares me!?

my son did that at 5 months as well but i wasn't worried because if they are able to roll over from back to stomach, later they are able to get out of a blanket. whoever said that you can't give your kid a blanket at darkness is a dumbas*. i guess that's why moms have been doing it for years. I didnt use blankets with my kids until they were in a toddler bed. My SO sons WOULD be 11 and 9 very soon he lost the first one to a pillow and the second to a plain recieveing blanket in the crib. Needless to say when we had our 6 year outdated we NEVER let ANYTHING in the crib with him. Maybe Im individual over the top with it but I also lost my baby cousin (at 4 months 13 days old) to cosleeping. So our kids sleep alone in their cribs beside nothing but a tight fitting sheet on the mattress. I figure its better to be safe than sorry. Source(s): 3 tiny caskets
Answers:    My son will only fall asleep if his blanket is covering his head. He have a home made blanket that was knitted. It doesn't bother us at all. If he be in trouble he would be able to move to get out of the blanket. It also have holes in it because it was hand knit.
I never used blanket until my child was hoary enough to get off the bed by herself, what you are supposed to do is dress them thaw out enough so you don't need to use blankets or get those blanket suites.SIDS is the prevailing cause of death in infants and it usually cause by blanket/pillow suffocation.
Raelyn does it. She always pulls it down then and laughs haha I wouldn't verbs, it would have to be pretty tight around her face for anything like that to come about.
Its nil unusual . He/she could be frightened or is just playing around. I see no danger in have blankets for babies. But I think they would be more comfortable if you gave them warm clothes to sleep within and no blankets. The blanket might slip off and they will be cold the rest of the night.

( I have no kid Im lone 13 years old but I babysat kids and I like to search the internet so I know plentifully of random stuff )
You CAN use blankets on children that young. But not heavy blankets. Use a light blanket they can breath through. Let the child tip out asleep and uncover their head.
Mine does he is 5 months. I normally just listen close to the monitor. you can hear wheezeing if he was have trouble breathing but most baby blankets have blankets that have tiny holes for that use
You're not supposed to use blankets with children that young-looking.you're supposed to dress them warm enough that they aren't needed!
My baby did not use blankets, individual SleepSacks...blankets are way too dangerous. Try a wearable blanket.
Yes, she does do that. I never put her to sleep near a blanket but if she is on the floor and I think she is chilly I will put a blanket on her legs or from the waste down and she grabs it and pulls it over her lead and then chews on it. I just keep an eye on her.

I put her within one piece jammies to go to bed so she doesn't need a blanket
