A little sunburn on my sons arms? I grain horrible... facilitate!?
Sooo today was Calebs first beach trip *Yay clapping!* He's 10 months old, we spent roughly speaking 3 hours there, I made sure to dress him in a short sleeved shirts, some shorts and a hat. And I fully lathered him up surrounded by spf 50 three times in that period of 3 hours. We just get home and I'm realizing he's a got a little burn on merely the top of his arms and a little area on the back of his décolletage. My son is fair but WTH?? We take him out to the pool quite a bit and this have never happened before, do you think beside his fair skin we should make beach trips ever again? I thought for sure he be fully protected with all the spf and clothing on. So anyways, he seems fine right very soon but I'm afraid later on he'll be a little uncomfortable. Can I put some aloe on him... what else can I do for a bit sunburn?
My 2 week old got a little too much sun on his trunk one day when my husband took him outside for the first time. I felt horrible too! We put lots of all innate aloe on him very often. We put the aloe in the fridge to variety it cool. It worked very well and is very risk-free!!
I would use Aloe as it should help sooth it a bit if he does have any discomfort. I would also hang on to it moisturized good to prevent any kind of peeling. I don't see why you cant shift to the beach again I would rub him down more often with the Sun block on tho instead of every hour. I glad you guys have fun and I hope you beached it for me also!

Answers: Yep. Aloe will help soothe it, and it will help him be more comfortable. You can also give him a cool oatmeal bath- Aveeno make a product with Oatmeal in it and this will help provide nouns for him. Also, if he gets to uncomfortable with the sunburn offer him some Tylenol to help ease the pain, and, lastly, hold on to him in unrestriced clothing until the sunburn goes away. Hope I've helped, and hope the sunburn go away quickly!
You could take him to the beach again. Instead I suggest putting sun suntan lotion on him maybe once every half an hour and getting him one of those UV protecting shirts. Maybe getting some sun block with a soaring SPF.Also for now I would keep the area that have burn covered with lotion since that will help it not hurt so much and will help prevent peal.
Some kids just burn easier (my little sister is really fair and have always burnt no matter what she does). A little aloe is fine at his age. I wouldn't skip the sand altogether, just keep it up with the sunscreen and try standard lamp long clothes next time to cover up some more of his skin. You can also buy full length beach clothes for babies that has SPF protection within it as well.
did you put the spf under the clothes?? i always slather my briliant white girl! in spf 50 afterwards clothe her!! aloe is the best thing or candela!!??
