When your LO's first started pulling up on things?
Were they scared to pull up on things other than you? My daughter is basically now really pulling up on things, but if she pulls herself up on her toy box or the couch she completely freaks out! But she can pull herself up on me or my husband all hours of daylight. And I don't mean when we are holding her hands, but on our legs or arms if we're sitting on the floor.
If they were, how long until they be comfortable doing it? She'll get herself up on something and just start screaming! It's heartbreaking!!
Thanks!
the first point my son pulled up on was the couch while i was lying on it. then he started using the boxes on the floor at my work. and everything else. i guess your daughter freshly wants to be near the two of you for comfort.
the first item my son pulled up on , to a standing, was the tv unit , so he could be closer to the tv ... he loves it so much . i have to own it turned of most of the day so that i can get him to play with his toys and cram stuff . he was just over 6 months .
he wasnt afraid to pull up on anythign tho , he will cruis around adjectives day .
then at 8 months he started just standing up on his own , next to out the aid of anything . now all he does it squats and plays with his toys , consequently stands an waves the toy aound lol
so cute
yesterday he climbed up on a box and decided to stand on that .
hes almost 10 months now
Answers: Hm, not really. I guess I have a daredevil on my hand. She would pull up on us, but she was (and still is) a huge fan of our coffee table :)
She's comfortable standing for a few minutes but will usually allow herself to plop rear legs down on to the floor. It's a good thing our family room is carpeted! Source(s): she is 9 and 1/2 months
