Is the 6 week postpartum check really awful?

I am due my 6 week check next week, although it will have been 7. Im really worried in the order of it, i did have a 2nd degree tear so know they are going to want to check it. Am i getting panicky over nil? How bad is it really?
It isn't adjectives that bad. I only had a small rip though. But i had sex soon after i stopped bleeding. All they do is check to see your cervix is closed up, check any tearing you had, check your breasts, and ask question about you and baby. It is nothing to verbs yourself about. It gives you a chance to ask adjectives the questions you didn't want to ask friends and family.
Bless you, i remember how nervous i was around my 6 week check up, i hadnt torn but i had an episiotomy. My dr just asked how i felt, feel my tummy to check everything had contracted back and then asked if i looked-for my stiches etc checked, i said yes even though i didnt really as i wanted to be sure that everything was healing properly. If you dont want to be checked 'down there' they cannot force you.
Mine be fine. untill the doctor did a pap smear.. way to early and friggen hurt like no tomorrow! I if truth be told screamed!

Dont let them do that and its a walk within the park!
It's not bad at adjectives! They just do a pap smear and check everything out. They will most likely talk to you around birth control options if you are interested and make sure you and baby are doing ok.

The hardest chunk about my 6 week appointment was knowing that it was my ending. I was soooo sad about that. I guess you freshly get used to going so much and then one day, you're done.
it isnt bad at all - they will check your stomach to make sure everything have gone back all right, if ur in usa, they will most expected give you an internal exam (we dont get them in uk), and after they will ask you if you have any concerns etc.
Sometimes they don't even check your bits so don't hysterics. Mostly he will ask how you are feeling?, any soreness?, has your lochia stopped?, what birth control are you going to get?.the just reason i had an internal was because I be due for a pap smear at my 6 week check up...
Answers:    Neither of my postpartum checkups were bad. My first son be delivered via Cesarean birth, so there weren't any vaginal tears to inspect. They did a pap smear, though, which was resembling any other pap smear, since I was due for one, and they did a breast exam. They also discussed birth control options, looked at my Cesarean incision site, and made sure my uterus was stern to it's normal size and my cervix was closed up.

After my second son, born vaginally, I didn't have a typical postpartum checkup. I saw a midwife at a birth center, and she didn't do pap smears at the 6 week check. They unsophisticatedly discussed birth control options and checked my fundal (top of uterus) height. I had my pap smear subsequent on before I had my IUD put in. I didn't hold stitches or a big tear, so they didn't worry about that.

Is your hole healing well? Is it still really sore? If so, maybe they can make available you something to help the healing. Do you have some Dermoplast spray? I hear that help a lot of women. I used Tucks witch hazel pads. I would put them in the freezer so they could procure nice and cold, and then I just let them sit against the skin. It feel sooooo good. I also took regular maxi pads and sprayed them with witch hazel and put them contained by the freezer. Sitz baths are really good for stitches and hemorrhoids, too.
when i went for mine they didnt check anything just asked me around how i was feeling and if i needed any conception pills

good luck and congrats
I have a c-section so all he did was check the incision. I LOVE my Dr, he is an amazing Dr! I got to show bad my son... It was the funniest thing, my son spotted my Dr in the room and his eyes get HUGE and he just stared at my Dr and gave him this strange looks as if he remebered him from the delivery LOL!
