A tot and a wedding ceremony?
My aunt is getting married this Saturday and my boyfriend and I are bringing our daughter with us. She will be a week away from 10 months old for the wedding.
What would be some pious ways to keep her quiet during the ceremony without drawing attention to ourselves? She is a extremely vocal girl now so she doesn't understand the concept of human being quiet lol
And not bringing her with us is out of the question. My aunt already told me that she really requirements my daughter there.
So any tips on keeping a vocal baby silent for about an hour or so?
"And not bringing her with us is out of the interrogate. My aunt already told me that she really wants my daughter there."
Well, then she openly understands that a 10-month-old is probably not going to be the quietest guest, and is okay with it.
I agree with the others - sit in close proximity a doorway in case you need to manufacture a speedy exit. My guess is that there will be other children, too, though, and you won't be sticking out like a sore thumb if your baby babble a little during the ceremony. Good luck and have fun!
With stuff like this, I'd aim for my son to be tired so he'd take a nap during the ceremony!
If to be precise not possible, take something to snack on... she's less potential to make noise if she has something to bite on!
Most churches have a bit at the back where you can keep watch on the service without going in to the actual main church bit... specifically where I sat with my son when I go to ceremonies a couple of times.
And most importantly, remember it's your aunt's wedding and she wants your daughter nearby! Seeing as she said this, I doubt she'll be too worried by a bit of enthusiastic baby babble!
this helped when me and my son go to his dads graduation
FOOD!
puffs
yougurtmelts
animal crackers
anything she eats
a binky!
my son usually just smiles at when i put it in my mouth
or drinks!
or a book u read soothingly to her
I'd bring a few snacks and hide them contained by my purse, then give them to hear when the ceremony starts. Just some animal crackers or something along those lines. Nothing too messy! And, nothing she'll get through too fast. Don't want her hollering for more! :o) Have fun and good luck!
You can't silence a 10 month old. Just sit near the door surrounded by case she goes off.
LOL I agree with the other dude i do not think you can silence a 10 month old, so newly sit next to the door.
snacks food candy close to a lolipop
anything thatll shut a kid up lol
Maybe you could bring some freezie pops or some other treats.
snacks!!
differnt varieties of it
bring along quiet toys and treats
Answers: I would try and sit near an exit like the other posters said. Maybe try and proposal her a bottle of juice or whatever... hold and snuggle her, and maybe she'll plunge asleep. Or bring some toys too... I mean maybe you'll get lucky and she'll be noiseless. Haha. Good luck!
