He doesn't close to playing next to toys?
My baby is 12 weeks now. He STILL has no interest whatsoever surrounded by toys!! the only thing he likes is his mobile on his crib. bar that-he just wants to play with me and my husband which we totally love! but i be just wondering if its normal that he doesnt play with toys?!
adjectives the books are saying that he should be grabbing toys from the toy pole and "exploring them".he just doesnt do it?
oh btw- he does plenty of laughing/smiling/trying to talk...

Well, I think it's ordinary since he is still small. Do you have a playmat? I got one on craigslist for $15. It was around three months weak when my son started looking up at it. Around that same age he started enjoying a Lamaze toy and a baby mirror. All he did was look and stare at them. Then he started reaching out haphazardly for things. Finally one time when he was reaching out randomly his hand found something to clutch onto. That's how his play developed.
