A little advice/help beside dream around babe-in-arms dying?
I have had now for 4 days straight dreams of my tot dying. =/ He is perfectly healthy but every night it doesnt go amiss. Its either hes in the bathtub, i travel find him in his crib, hes fallen out of his crib. I cant sleep well i hold to go check on him 5 times a night! He is finally sleeping through the night. Is nearby somethign wrong has anyone else gone through this? What can I do to help? I have taken everything out of his crib even his flaccid toys cause im paranoid I have his monitor to the highest horizontal with all doors open. My dog very soon gets locked up at night. Am i just man stupid?
yea i presume most mothers go through this
If it helps keep the crib surrounded by your room so you hear and are able to act on anything quickly, this will uncomplicated your mind some and may stop the dreams
Yeah, maybe you should check on him once or twice a night. This isnt abnormal. I am still singular pregnant, and I have dreams about bad things that could possibly take place to my baby girl. Ive asked my friends about this, my friends with unsullied babies. They all assure me that it is normal. It is because you care so much and your babys safekeeping is your responsibility. Its not that you are weird or stupid. This is a normal thing for every worrisome parent to turn through.
It is completely normal! Our babies are the most important things to us and even the thought of not having them beside us is enough to make us crazy! I went through the SAME point but worse LOL My hubby's cousin lost her little boy to SIDS at 9 weeks and I was about 5 months pregnant with my daughter at the time that it happen. When my daughter was born I swear I NEVER slept! No joke, I had her crib IN my bedroom beside the baby monitor sitting in the corner of her crib...I had "my part" of the monitor right above my person in charge so I could HEAR her breathing during the night LOL and still got up 100 times a night to check on her. I be seriously obsessive about it! Now almost 4 years later I still bring back up during the night to check my kids!
you are being normal. you may have watch something on tv that just put the idea in your skipper. i used to dream of bad things happening to my daughter all of the time. and when i be younger i started dreaming that my father was an alcoholic and he kept being really mean to me. i couldnt numeral out what was going on. then i realized that i have just watched the shining and it got to me subconciously. i dont know what to do to fix it, i in recent times want you to know that it is totally normal.
No, you're not being stupid! You're totally normal! I have two friends who've said they own the same kinds of dreams. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and just concluding night I had a dream that my baby run onto the road and I couldn't catch him in time...and then my mother simply looked disgusted with me!
Dreams are not foretelling the future, they just bring some insecurities to the surface. We mothers hold YEARS of worrying ahead of us :-)
Dream Dictionary:

Sometimes scary dreams symbolize different things.
how old is you baby?
all right I think is ok to feel like that sometimes specially at hours of darkness I use to worry even now that they are 8,5 and 1 year I still worry in the order of them some parents worry more than others that not being stupid you love your kids you just want them to be ok. Give it some time upright luck
maybe you should try to only check on him once a night and see how it go
Answers: Honey, please remember it's just a dream. I'm njo psychology expert, but I think othese are caused by one of two things:
1. And most imagined answer- you're a new mum, and these dreams are anxiety dreams, and are simply being caused by stress/ hormones/ famine of sleep from having a new baby. You love him more than anything and it's regular to feel extremely anxious about things. Maybe you're uneasy with him surrounded by a separate room? Why not move his crib into your room?
2. Dreams about death are widely accepted to signify adjust (as does the death card in tarot reading). These dreams can simply be about the huge transmutation that has occurred in your natural life since the birth of your son.
Either way, you cannot control your dreams, you just have to not agree to them rule you. I think every parent has had one, and the more it is playing on your mind and worrying you the more possible the chance that your brain will go over it again in your sleep. Try reading earlier bed to clear your mind but if you do have a nasty dream accept that you cannot control it and it is newly a dream- they're not predicting the furture or anything xx
