How older be your toddler when they have their first fuzz cut?
How did it go?
Who did it?
Lukas' is getting longish and messy... and he's getting a fringe which is almost an inch longer on one side! He's only 10 months... bit scared to cut it!
I wait until my son was one.
Max was more or less 8 months old, and a barber did his (same barber all the guys in my home go too, and alotta the other guys i know too), my boyfriend actually took him, and it went economically, Max behaved himself, and got his hair trimmed so it be outta his face. He's gotten in cut 2 more times since then and i will be taking him again tomorrow, lol, his down grows fast, and seems to need a hairstyle, quite often.
All babies are different so not sure if Lukas will cooperate with getting it done, better for a barber or u, but i wouldn't ever grain comfortable doing it myself lol, but that's just me.
Just make sure it's a barber that is used to dealing beside lil kids, if u decide on that route, cuz that'll make things a whole lot easier.
Hope this help and good luck, :D.
My daughter has just turned 2 when we got her spike cut for the first time. And that was just because she was growing a serious mullet within the back..LOL. She's now 2.5, and I don't plan on cutting her hackle for a while. Her hair now hangs contained by her eyes, but I just put it up every morning.
My son is due in a few months, and I'm sure he will have abundantly more haircuts then she gets. :)
my son was 15 months ripened and i took him to our local hairdresses he screamed the place down he can sit on your lap whilst they do it and take some toys to keep hold of him amused they will try to sooth him and calm him down i took him 2 months after and he was ok with it consequently started getting grotty after a while but they say the more you take him the better he will capture also take some baby wipes near you and a fresh top cos he willget hair all over my son was chewing on the stuff but it be all worth it in the end he looked a proper little man well-mannered look
My son was a year. He have curls and I hated to see them go but his hair be gettin too long, lol. My son actually did a really good job, he sit still and didn't move. I have to sit him on my lap, I think that makes it for a time easier also. Good Luck :)
I have to trim my son's hair at about 6 months as he was born next to a patch of long hair on top (like a Mohawk) that never fell out. His fringe is also growing quite long now (he's 8 months) so I'm going to hold to trim it soon before it reaches his eyes!
my daughters 13 months old and hasn't had a spine cut yet x
My daughter was 3 1/2 before I had it trimmed. I go to a salon to have it done because she has very curly spike. I haven't cut it since then. She's 5 now, and her hair reach to her butt.
Answers: I have to give a really really light trim around Luke's ears last week, he'd only just turned 9 months old. The weird thing is, he have hardly any hair until around 6 or 7 months old, lol, however it was really long around his ears!
It went OK, try leaving it til he's asleep if you can, much smaller quantity fidgeting that way!
my brothers babe-in-arms girl was 1 year old when she had it trimmed x
it al depends..my oldest daughter had to get her down trimmed when she was 8 months old as her hair be so long and thick..but my youngest is 2 1/2 and she has not yet have a haircut..she has short blonde curly hair and i havent feel like she has needed a hair cut however.
it really just depends on what you feel comfortable with, if his mane is getting messy and growing at different rates then would be best to have it cut, you should try and get his fuzz cut at home as young children dont seem to respond well to individual in a hairdressers lol
good luck
Our two boys were both a year old formerly their first hair cuts.
I trimmed my son's hair myself, just in the final, for the first time around 10 months. He looked like he had a mullet. He got his first existing hair cut at 16 months, last weekend actually.
