Can my 4 month matured swim contained by a cold pool (23 degree c) if wearing a wetsuit?
23 celcius is about 74 farenheit -- not a particularlly cold pool.
Does your baby like hot or cold baths?
My son used to love colder baths so going to a colder pool like that be great for him, but if your child likes his/her hotter baths than you may have a problem.
A wetsuit may keep him/her reheat until the water really touches him/her but if you keep him/her close to you, ( I wouldn't really recommend not doing that with a child so babyish ) and be comforting and gentle the entire time, then I see no problem.
And for the lady that said 75 degree, this is in C not in F.
75 degrees C would burn the child. 23 degree C is a more ideal temperature for swimming in. Source(s): Mummy of 9 month older

23 degrees Celsius is not cold at adjectives. In fact it's fairly warm.
I really, really, really say NO!! lol in recent times because if it's your baby's first time, try to make the pool as comfortable as possible. the poor baby will already be crying and scared, no have need of to have her be cold too :(
Awwww.. :( Poor thing, don't do that to her! She will be freezing! The pool that i go to is about 75 degree and i see babies that go in there and start crying result in it still feels really cold. I couldn't imagine 23!
No!
Answers: The American Red Cross sets the pool temperature for competitive swimming at 78 deg F, which is admittedly cold for the reason in that the athletes are raise their internal temperature in the effort of the competition. This 78 scope mark is cosidered too cold for children and 23 C is about 73 deg F, which is even COLDER. (Even with a wetsuit, this would be too cold for a child of such an age.)
If I be you, I"d put a solar blanket on the pool and raise the temp a bit before I'd let somewhat one in a pool that temp. A child that age can get too cold too quickly within such a cool pool. Source(s): http://www.swimmingpool.info/temperature…
I would not do this. I wouldn't even do it near my 9 month old.
