5 months crawling/sitting and how much time outside is too much?
My son is 5 months and he has been inch crawling for a while now. He can move whereever but near his tummy on the ground and slowly. He cant sit on his own yet but I was wondering when about do you ruminate he will? I know eveyr baby does in their own time but are there any signs to look for and what can i do to serve him work these muscles? Also so I dont have to post another question lol How much time outside is too much for 5 months old? I spend nearly adjectives day outside when hes sleeping and he is outside for abotu 3 hours a day is tht too much? I live in MS its 91 today.
You want to spend about 2-3 hours outside. Just label sure that he is hydrated through out the day so that he doesn't get sick. Most babies learn to crawl between the ages of 6 and 10 months. He may opt for another method of locomotion around this time, though — approaching bottom shuffling (scooting around on his bottom, using a hand behind and a foot in front to propel himself), slithering on his stomach, or rolling across the room. Some babies skip crawling altogether and move directly to pulling up, standing, and walking. Since the "Back to Sleep" struggle was initiated in 1994, more babies seem to be crawling following or skipping it completely. Source(s): babycenter.com
My son started to sit at 4 months, but now at 13 months he doesn't walk on his own yet, so you never know when the little one will start crawling or walking.
Being outside is a very good thing for a babe-in-arms, it can never be to much.
Just try avoiding the sun, and find the spot with less cars (thats what I do).
Answers: my babe started sitting by himself at 4 months. He prefers that sitting position over laying down. he doesnt crawl by any means yet. I construe it just depends on your child's personality and what they wiish to do. I think he will sit soon. I presume the reason my son sat soon is because i always have him in that position and in the bumbo chair <-- do you hold one? you may want to try that.
With the outside thing i would just make sure he is within the shade and give him lots to drink so he won't get dehydrated. If he isn't sweating though and seem fine he probably is.
ok he the thing with my son at 5 months he was sitting on his own surrounded by a bumbo (a soft chair i got from walmart) and hes started crawling at 6 ( hes 7 months now) and my son loves to be outside to (ask his doctor about this ) but as long as you put sunscreen on you son and hes not contained by direct sunlight i would give him some pedalight if it gets to hot so he doesn't get dried up he should be fine as for the sitting when my son was in his chair you could see when sitting on his own but its different next to every baby my sisters son is older than mine and he doesn't crawl rollover and he cant sit on his own
