My son have a red bumb on his arm and it started oozing puss?
He is 17months old and has had rather red bumb on his arm for the past few days. I didn't think much of it, maybe for a while insect bite but today it got really big and it started oozing puss, i cleaned the affected area and will bid and make an appt tomorrow, but do you think it will be okay until then? It still have a little puss in there, a bit hard around the area but I don't want to try and force it out.

Put a band-aid over it. If a bug laid eggs it will suffocate them & they'll come out.

It is probably a cellulitis. As long as he has started any fevers or the area isn't getting any larger or disrupting his mundane activities - like lifting his arm then it would be okay to dawdle until tom. morning. You can take a marker and circle around the red area -this will relief you to know if it is getting any bigger. You can also apply warm moist heat to it - this can help to drain it. Don't push on it because it can engender it worse.
Answers: Ask the child's pediatrician...it could be anything non-serious to something very serious, similar to a spider bite.

Could be a lil boil.. Just put warm compresses on it as much as he lets you... It'll help bring adjectives that pus out and make it go away.. yeah its not good to force it out because if its unwary and you push around it.. then it could possibly make it go IN more than out.
