My infant have to conversion formulas because of WIC, is in attendance any formula explicitly better than the other or they adjectives?

She is taking Enfamil Gentlease now and the only kind WIC will grant me is Good Start, I think because it is the cheapest. I just don't want to deprive my child of something that would be better for her because of my income.
yeah wic only does the cheap stuff, i hold wic and i am kind of getting burned out on the same old stuff every single time. but really we other used similac because the hospital told us it was easiest on the stomach. really tho theya re pretty much all the same surrounded by the end.
ok this is generous ok a split thing because for one i don't know where you live i know but my sister lives in kansas and i know she have wic and her son uses simalac with soy and they cover it so you might just have to verbs and see if they will cover the enfamil now in my case when my son started formulas i tried seriously of different types and never really liked the store brands like target and walmart have the own brands but the moniker brands he did ok with them good start i believe is nestle and i did approaching it Source(s): Target.com walmart.com
Answers:    Hey, I have WIC, and I enjoy a JOB also.

Sorry, that was for all the trash talkers up above.

First, tolerate me just say that WIC is a federally run program, and they have to come together federal requirements. They could not give you Good Start if it was going to deprive your child of nutrition, because that is what WIC is for, to cause sure lower income families and their children up to age 5 are eating nutritious foods. Formula, since it is the major contributor of nutrition for formula feed babies, is considered a nutritious food product. Take comfort in that your baby will be getting the nutrition he/she needs from the Good Start.

Secondly, and most importantly, please don't agree to some of these other comments bother you. These people don't know you, or your situation. They can pretend that they are holier than thou all they want to but, truthfully, that just method they are lacking something inside themselves, so they try make other people consistency inadequate.

Just ignore them, and their dumb-*** comments.

BTW, if WIC only offered the cheapest of the cheap within formula, we would be getting the store brand, not the name brand. Here in Arizona, I recieve 9 - 12.9 ounce cans of Similac Sensitive for my daughter per month.
I never used Good Start so I don't know how good/bad it is, but I would think it would be a fine formula to use. I used Enfamil LIPIL with Iron and that work out great for my son so I recommend that, but not if you can't afford it...Good Start might work just as in good health for you.

WIC actually gave me Enfamil LIPIL with Iron so I find it kinda abnormal WIC will only give you Good Start. Are you sure? Maybe you should ask them again.
Good Start is an excellent formula and it's free! (with WIC) Source(s): I started getting formula for my daughter when she was 10 months aged because that's when I stopped breastfeeding her. I remember that the WIC nutritionist asked me what brand of formula I want to use. I went with Good Start because that is what my sister used next to her kids and she loved it. Next time you have an appointment, bring it up with them.
When your at the store look at the nutritional labels on the formula. You'll see that all of them are pretty much duplicate. I use Good Start and my son has had no problems from it. Source(s): Me
All baby formulas are required to meet the same standards. Enfamil spends money on public relations that Parents Choice does not. They and Similac routinely send out samples to women who have a parenting magazine subscription or enjoy registered with some sort of pregnancy board. Many nursing moms pitch it in their trash.

FYI, the cost of formula is driven up by WIC.

Edit: Price baby formula surrounded by the grocery asile. Good Start is not the cheapest.
They all enjoy the same nutritional value, taste and consistency may come and go between the formula brands though.
