1 year old-fashioned allergies and asthma?

he has been into the dr twice in the finishing 2 weeks and has to go back surrounded by on tuesday for a new follow up. first they gave him an inhaler because he seemed to be have breathing issues which helped but didnt completely fix his problems then at his 1 year check up they decided that he does enjoy allergies also. so they told me to give that to him and try to take him off the inhaler but he still have the breathing issues at night without it so i started giving it again and they said if he needs it to bring him posterior in cause they are gonna put him on a maintenance inhaler instead of the one he have because it is supposed to be a rescue type inhaler.

so my questions are is who else has had to promise with a child with allergies and asthma that the early age. what did you do? did they grow out of it(i hold heard that some do).

this is new to me. i have have allergies but never really known anyone with the asthma at this young of an age
