A few breastfeeding question?

1. my son falls asleep on the breast does this mean he is done?
2.when i try to pull my nipple out of his mouth it hurts so bad so i hold his feeler andd he let go once is that wat i am supposed to do?
3.did you cry the first few days because of the pain?

and yes i did find my nipple cream thank god!
1. It depends. He might be, so take him off and see whether this bothers him or he wake up wanting more.

2. I'm sure that there's a better way to do it than that. I have a problem with my daughter where on earth she lets go all the time, so I haven't encounter something like this, but it might work if you gently push his mouth open, afterwards, once his mouth is open pull out. (This may not work...like I said I've never have to try anything like that).

3. Babe, I'm still crying because of the pain on the first few days. Source(s): Sophia is 4wks today!
1. Not necessarily, maintain offering him the breast, rubbing his cheeks, touching his nose to keep him more alert. Or if he is anything like my babies, I would slowly clutch the nipple out as they were dosing off, they would either latch on or permit it go if they were actually done.

2. It usually help me, when that happens, to push on both of his cheeks, gently obviously, to grasp his latch to change enough that you can pull it out.

3. No, I hold had very few painful days. They didn't come until my girls be older and yanking off because they be distracted and whatnot. But as SOON as you feel a little bit of pain, once you receive this out of the way, put the nipple cream on immediately after expressing a little bit of milk on your nipple and letting it nouns dry.
Hannah, why does it matter if she is making it up, the answers are valid which means it could oblige someone else at least. So serious
1. it's normal but you can also try to offer the other breast. my son be always done when he fell asleep but he nursed a lot for comfort as well.
2 DO NOT verbs your nipple out. you need to break the suction first by placing your finger in the side of his mouth.

3 IF your nipples hurt that bad afterwards your baby is most liekly not latched on right.
1. It could mean he is done. How old is he? It is common for newborn to fall asleep at the breast. Just gently try to awake him and see if he will nurse more.
2. Ouch ! WTH? To take the toddler off the breast mother can:
Press breast down on her breast, near the baby's mouth;
Press down on baby's chin.
Insert a finger in the corner of the mouth.
3. Yes sometimes it can hurt but it shouldnt be sore. Make sure his latch is good.
1. He might be. Take him off and see if he wake up wanting more.

2. I wouldn't do that, what I do is stick my finger in her mouth with my nipple (on the side) to break her seal, and consequently I pull my nipple out easily.

3. I didn't cry (Not enough moisture not here in my body, haha!) but it was extremely painful. Definitely made me feel about giving up. But I've been exclusively breastfeeding for 7 weeks now, and it's be so easy. I'm glad I stuck it out.
Answers:    Oh breastfeeding, I would to some extent give birth 3 more times than go through the first week of breastfeeding.

1) try and wake him up, its possible he is freshly comfortable and feel asleep in mamas arms. if he doesn't open his mouth or try and bring back more, let him sleep.

2) make sure you put your finger in first to alleviate the suction from the nipple, never just pull it out!! that's so painful. suspend in there, it gets easier. do you ponder people would do it for so long if it never got better? but if it doesn't get better you still hold the option for breast pumps to still give your child that nutrition.

3) yes. i had such a easier said than done time at first, then it became second nature. Source(s): myself.
